Agree with the comment above. I have spent sleepless hours looking for this video. Could not understand why with all the forum discussion on the topic there was nothing showing the actual weights installed; I was beginning to think suitcase weights for the L2501 were a myth. The Kubota dealer certainly was no help, we had a heated argument, with him insisting the L2501 could not take front end weights and no weights or weight bracket were made, adding that with his 30 years in the business he should know. Now, if I could only find a dealer who stocks them without charging a $250 freight charge. Loved the video. Admire anyone who can get a job done and manage being a great parent at the same time.

Hi, some month ago, I bought a L2850, too. It comes with a backhoe ( Cochet, mounted on a frame (quick release, hydraulic pump driven by the back PTO). Can you tell, whether your MX 6000 front-end- loader (LA1060?) would fit the L2850 as well? It is hard to get hold of the older BF500 types, as for example my L2850 is 1992. So, I contemplate to fit a newer model. Regards Heinz, Germany
The mounts are very different, different frame mounting points and different widths. For example, The new front loaders don't attach to the front bumper like the L2850 front loader. Keep asking around though, someone may have already done something like that and know what to do.
