U.S. Air Force Academy dignitaries, elected officials, and friends and family of Jack ’78 and Vianne Kucera gathered on the east side of Falcon Stadium the morning of Sept. 6 to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for the Kucera Legacy Center.
The Kuceras are the lead donors for the $90 million modernization project, which boasts 850 new premium seats within the East Club presented by L3Harris at the Kucera Legacy Center, as well as expanded concourses, increased restroom capacity, new concession areas and a Falcon’s team shop.
Speakers at the event included Mark Hille ’97, CEO of the Association of Graduates and Air Force Academy Foundation; Nathan Pine, director, Air Force Academy Athletics; Troy Calhoun, head coach, USAFA football; and Jack Kucera, director of the Air Force Academy Foundation board.
Refreshments from the new concessions area and a self-guided tour of the Kucera Legacy Center followed the ribbon-cutting.
