I'm surprised she went that far. That was a good shot. Goes to show you how tough these animals are. Our ancestors had it rough. Great Joib Tim. I wish we could send a Go-Pro back in time to our hunter-gatherer ancestors. Imagine the cool primitive hunting videos we would get Spearing Sabor-toothed Tigers and Wooley Mammoths. Crazy to think about how brave they had to be without a choice. It's important to carry on these traditions and we do not lose them to time.

Do you know what breed of dog it is Tim?I like the wire haired dogs like Irish terriors and Airedale terriors.

Based on how hard it appears to be to spear one from the ground, I am guessing they either speared them like Tim in a tree, or ran them down with dogs and dispatched them with their spears.

Good dogs are incredible hunting companions!
