I own one as well as the Kuhl "The one" hoodie. The Activator is quite more airy feeling imo. Still close to the body and warm, maybe a little less tight to the body than the one. But i love both jackets. And for 30 degrees or below i layer them both and it works quite well at keeping me warm but not having to wear a heavy parka to stay warm.

True to size. I am XL in most tops and this was spot on. Perhaps 1/4 size trimmer. Like athletic cut.

Great hoodie. Similar to "the one" but slightly thicker/little more stretch. Either one will serve you well, or of you can swing it get both. I wear the one as a midlayer and throw the activator on top. Works perfectly well in 25-30° hikes and beats a big heavy parka anyday in terms of weight/comfort. Comfort on the trail is Huge! If you aren't comfy out there you are gonna have a rough time.
