Too bad KUIU went with the big ad on the side of the leg. Glad to see Kuhl going with the french fly button, my old renegades have that, it's a great feature.
Good intel. I wish there was less pogo on them too. Cause I love to push the dressy and casual limits on the pants too. Kuhl really nailed it with the Klash. Fellow Engearment writer Mattis loves his too.
Sean, AWESOME thanks for this comparison! The fit info was very useful. I bought a pair of Kuhl Destroyr pants based on your review and love them. Maybe I missed it, but do the Base Camp pants fit more like the Attack or more like the Tiburon? The Tiburon looks AWESOME for my summer backpacks (I have to wear long pants, long story), and the Klash looks good for me for winter use (along with the Destroyer). I might pick up a pair of the Base Camps if the fit is more like the Tiburon or Klash. Thanks again for these real-world reviews.
Hey Paul! I like we’re your head is at with the pants. Very similar appreciation on features! The Sierra are just a little roomier than the Attack. Not quite as roomy as the Tiburon. I think you will love the Tiburon for summer use. Thank you for the support !!
I have had that happen a few times when don’t kettlebell swings. Even my clients have it happen. It’s pretty funny when we here the sound 😆. But only on a few of their pants. The navigtr and radikl are the ones I have noticed.
Great review. Have you tired the stretch Kutanas from Kuiu yet? Fit way tighter, 2 way stretch etc. Very different FYI. I'm gonna try the BaseCamp Sierras now too. Thanks for the info and review!!

Thanks for the review! I've been looking at a couple of those but I think I'm leaning towards the Stone Glacier pants since I have their Helio bottoms and love the venting they offer. Have you had any experience with their gear?
I have the kuiu axis and they are hands down the best made pants I've ever seen. They are a cold weather pant. Waterproof on the seat and knees. Tiburon shorts are awesome as well for hot.
Oh fun! What a cool adventure. The pants have withstood over a year of use in daily use as well as hiking and camping. I do not know much about the Amazon or what you might encounter. The attack might be more durable. But it will also be way warmer. I love the Tiburon for warm weather.
