Sweet! I've been waiting for a non cotton brush pant! I usually wear my Attack Pants for the quick drying, vent zips, and pockets. I just suffer when the dog takes me into the brush 😢 And they are wearing out from it.
I have the Attack pants too I wore them once got into some Cat claw hunting Quail. Unpleasant to say the least. Pro brush pants are answer to what I wanted from Kuiu. I really like them so far.
@@blakecrawford9303 much the same true to size . I’ve had the brush pants for a year now. I really like them, they feel great stretch and move with you especially when climbing steep Terrain. They are holding up really well. I haven’t worn my Attack pants sense I got these and I have 2 pairs now . Thanks for reaching out
Hey I’ve been eyeing these pants.. I have attacks as well as pro pants but I’ve been debating on these or the Kutana Stretch Woven’s. I heard in your review you mentioned the Kutana’s so I was curious on your opinion of the 2. Are they somewhat water resistant? What do you think of the vents on the inner thigh? Thanks for the awesome review. Not many out there
Hey there. I have been out a lot with these parents over the summer. Like them so much I bought a second pair. The vents on the inner thighs are fine. Don’t cause me any issues. Haven’t got any sticks or twigs. Stuck up in there yet lol. I’ve been out in 90 Degrees and didn’t feel over heated .these have a water repellent on them that work pretty good. I have taken a garden hose and literally sprayed myself down ,the water Just sheds right off. The pants have a nice four-way stretch to them yet durable very similar to kutana . The pants are pretty comfortable too . They just fit me nice. Have a great season.
I know they are not made for this, but how do you think they would do against snake bite? I live in AZ and there is always an concern of coming across a rattler.
Hi Michael. I live in Arizona as well and I am right there with you as far as rattlesnake concerns go. I do not think I would depend on these brush pants as rattlesnake proofing lol. Don’t think the material is thick enough to stop a bite. But so far they are working great on cactus and cat claw.
@@Pointers_upland_life Thank you. I'm trying to find a happy medium from being overly cautious with full blown snake gators and a lighter weigh solution that's better than plain pants. Came across two this weekend on a hike. It's the season.
@@ripple4612 they are holding up great so far. WDR still works good. I think water resistant breakdown comes more from putting them in the dryer than washing them. I do not dry my KUIU in a dryer
