Hats off to this old Man for his honest words and valuable advice to each one of us. I am a Tangkhul Naga brought up in Imphal living and eating together with every community in Manipur and as per my understanding, let me say this. Meiteis are not United among themselves at all. It's hard for the Meiteis to come together for anything. They are very busy competing among themselves for money, education, power, politics,etc that they forget everything coming towards them. Meiteis are compassionate and tolerant towards other communities but not to themselves as much. We Nagas on the other hand are not United too. Jealousy and fighting for leadership, power among the Naga tribes has ruined their unity. Nagas are so busy in their Naga national political movement that they forget everything be it education, money and everything. Kukis have moved around supporting Meiteis one day and also to the Nagas on another day. They have silently worked hard and brought their unity while we are fighting among ourselves. It is what it is today. High time to learn and act vigorously and solve this as the old man says in the video.

The Kuki today in Manipur are still do not learn Manipuri much to compare with the other tribes because once in the past all the communities in Manipur learnt and speak the Thadou language that is the main reason behind why the Kukis people cannot spoke Manipuri in the past.
