Hundreds of Kuki-Zo women staged a massive protest today, against the removal of an Assam Rifles post at Banglabung Gelnal village in Kangpokpi district.
The protest, organized under the aegis of the Kuki Inpi Twilang Lhang, highlighted the community's deep concerns over the withdrawal of the security presence in the area. Women from various villages united to voice their fears about the potential security risks posed by the removal of the Assam Rifles post.

This shows the ties between the kukis and ASSAM Rifles. CRPF are as good as ASSAM Rifles but the kukis have problems with this because of the closed relationship between them. National security cannot be dictate by kukis preferences and should not be compromised for some particular communities interests.

Meitheis hates Assam Rifles because they're impartial while they like BSF and Bihar regiment and other forces because they can command them through their Meitei CM. That's the hard truth they had to swallow.
