Superb interview. I got a full idea of the industry and the company. Tips Music is a marvel, survives as an independent company without being part of a huge entertainment giant and highly profitable while churning out good quality music. Tips has a high amount of quality catalogue.
Fantastic conversation Tarsame. Of course, this content isn't for everyone, even I didn't understand the inner workings of the business. But I am sure, for many out there, the learnings from this podcast are golden! However, given how many "hits" his company has had over the decades, Kumar ji must be having a very keen ear. He should have been in the panel of the "Pitch your song" contest at AllAboutMusic.
Tips : Tips music majorly Top in my 90's & 2000's favourites list. Even my Anytime-Everytime enjoyable movie "APKGK" is Tips production (No Complaints No Demands 😀) Bahuut achha laga KumarTaurani ji ki baatein sunke. Such a transparent insightful conversation. Really Really loved listening to this podcast. 2hrs pata bhi nahi chala, how it went 😀

Pretty insightful if you lived with the 90s music, the later part of the podcast gets technical though. Overall a good listen, we got to hear few aspects from the business side that has never been discussed. Tauranis have seen the shift in the film music business, good to see how they feel about the independent music scene and trying to stay relevant.
Very insightful and always thankful to tips for churning such amazing songs for so many years. Taurani brothers have seem everything in life.. Tips logo itself gives me instant goosebumps and nostalgia. But ive also noticed, tips have not allowed their songs on Instagram for usage. Wanted to know why?
