It's not "katkista", that means a "break" as to take a break.. It's "KAIKISTA", which means "from all", as in "the most bitter fate of all"... He literaly says kaikista, don't know where you heard the letter T...

I may be wrong but I think there are some mistakes in Finnish lyrics. I didn't find the right lyrics on the Internet, but I'm pretty sure it goes like that: "Kun minä kotoani läksin niin pilvet ne varjoili Ja kaikista katkerimman kohtalon mulle maailma tarjosi Kylän karkeloissa tulin tyttöseen tuntemaan Enkä minä loistetta sinisistä silmistä unhoita milloinkaan Eikä mun ikäväni haihdu täällä outojen seurassa Ennen kuin kukkii se orjanruusu minun hautani reunalla." I fell in love with a guy who played HIM songs on an acoustic guitar when I was a teen. I got reminded of this because this made me think how listening to Ville playing his favorite songs and Finnish ones especially on that instrument would be ... Well, it can't probably be ever, only in my vast imagination. 😆

@finnchick59 Well thank you for the explanation. I'm still learning finnish, I didn't know that the ending -nen may mean "little/young" in 'tyttonen', I thought about something different. Thank you also for saying "If you are not Finnish, you should be!! " I will remember that :) I'm Polish, but I love Finns and Finland. I wish Ville would make more songs in finnish.

@NesteHukka: Thank you for the information. I think we will be talking over word formation on our third year of studies, so the next year. Finnish is great, but to learn it well it's a long process. Songs and stories for children are helpful :D

Umm...I see only two small (typing?) errors in written finnish here (katkista -> kaikista; haiadu -> haihdu). Translation is very good. I can't see any incorrect translation choice.

The only reason I can sing along to this song is because Finnish has a lot of the same accents as German, and it's slow so I can figure out how to say it.
