My brother worked with Thai nationals in Saudia Airlines in Riyadh. He learned to love their food and smithereens of the language. Introduced me to Thai cuisine here in America which enamored my palate to it . I love Thai cuisine truly . Thanks Chef .
This is my first time to comment on RU-vid.. I just can't resist because I find Chef RV Manabat's vlog to be very entertaining! He's very intelligent, down to earth, and straightforward. His common sense and downright attitude to life is surprising..

This is my favorite Thai food..I had a first taste of it while working in Saudi Arabia and have been trying it in all of Thai restos here in SoCal 😂 suggestion Chef you can try chili powder or chili paste next time for a level up spice! 👍 and most Thai resto here put coconut cream for the creamy tom yum 😉
Thank you chef RV manabat for making this thai food ! It's my favorite foods 👨🍳 . Hope you make more thai food recipes 😋 😊 love watching your cooking show 😋😍 God bless you 🙏 ❤️ watching from California USA 🇺🇸
Trued this today, it is very good. I used a small can of coconut milk since I am lactose intolerant. Also used chicken but will try shrimps next time. No kafir lime leaves since I cannot find here in the US. I also used Mama Sita hot sinigang mix. I have to improvise but it tastes like the ones i had at Thai restaurants. Thank you for sharing.😊
Thank you for your response. I will look for them next time. I hope these are available all year round. For example, fresh lemon grass is only available during summer but i was able to buy dried lemon grass which served the purpose.
Naku huwag mo nga pansinin Chef nang ookray seo...You just talk en talk en we will listen😅😅 You're not just a professional Chef but also a great Teacher🥰. Thank you for sharing your experiences en knowledge not just in cooking but also lessons in life.God bless and continue slaying in the kitchen 😍
Im watching from Staten Island?NY.tom Yun goon is our favorite to order on our favorite Thai restaurant ,I’m introducing your site to my 2kids also both nurses since now you have sub titles and they can understand and follow you .Great job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for this Tom Yum recipe Chef RV. My favorite Thai soup. Btw My teacher in home economics said The easy hack to get almost triple the amount of juice. Instead of cutting the lime in half, you can make cuts on all four sides of the lime, leaving the center untouched. Just saying.✌️
Chef RV, you are consistently terrific and generous in sharing your secrets in cooking. You are one of a kind Thoroughly enjoy watching your show. However, can we replace Kefir Lime leaves with plain lime leaves? Don’t know if available in US. Thank you and more power to you!
i have a thai friend din before pinakain nila ako nyan tom yum sabi ko same ng sour soup sa pinas sinigang tawag nmin haha iba iba lang nilalagay na sahog but same sinigang 😅
Everytime pumupunta kami sa Thailand hindi hindi namin papalagpasin kumain ng tom yum. I use bunga ng sampalok naman. Nagtanim ako ng galangal para hindi mahirap maghanap sa market. 😄
DAMI KONG NATUTUNAN SA IYO, CHEF RV MANABAT. SALAMAT SA RECIPO MO NOODLES. MAY TOMATOE PASTE PA PARA MAPULA. MAY CAMATES DIN, SIBUYAS, CALAMANSI JUICE. SALAMAT, SA BANGKOK KAPA GALING, NIYAN. GOD BLESS.😜🤣😅😝
I’ve been wanting to try cooking this Tom Yum but I didn’t get a chance to look for a recipe. But here you go, yours showed up in my RU-vid. I was just watching your vlog in Bangkok last night. Will definitely try your recipe and hopefully my eyes will roll out of its delicious flavor! I, too enjoy when you talk, it adds flavor to your character! Keep doing what you’re doing best! I believe that it is your purpose in life! You are there for a reason! May God bless you always! 🙏🏼😇🙏🏼
