The Person who changed the perception in the minds of the commoner - till his arrival into the scene , Violin was considered an accompaniment for great Carnatic Musicians and only those purists could enjoy . With his modulations and uniqueness , he proved that the commoner too can enjoy Carnatic Music .Not only did he perform to packed halls wherever he went , his background scores for Tamil movies are still a treat to the ears . His style till today is much appreciated - his name is etched in the minds of the Music lovers whenever they see a violin .
From our childhood across the South Indian Diaspora ….. 🙏🏽 Pranams and eternal grace to all these Carnatic music icons who kept our hearts enflamed and soothed our spirits . 🪷

I had the rare privilege of meeting him at the Bangalore airport in July 1996, and he gave me his autograph, and also blessed me as I was on my way to Hyderabad to get married! His signature was in the shape of a violin
To everyone who has disliked and is thinking of disliking this Devine masterpiece, I shall enlighten you that you were perhaps born deaf to good music.... I don't feel any anger but pity on all of you out there.... Even 100s of you aren't equal to him
Aaahaa. roller coaster of emotions when I hear this masterpiece.. Kunnakudi sir Not a single day goes past without me begging for an opportunity to attend your concert. Blessed are those who lived during his time. All our generation get is his divine Grace's videos to quench our thirst. Such a pity but yet grateful to those who upload these invaluable content 🙏🙏
What a wonderful rendition. Simply superb. No words to describe. One of the best violinists. He is nulli secondous in playing violin with ultra modern style. Marvelous and mesmerizing. Legend eternally.
When you think of Violin rendition, first name comes to your mind is Kunnakkudi. That's his legacy. Unfortunately he is no more with us now, his performance is always with us. KUNNAKKUDI IS ETERNAL.
Kunnakudy Vaidhyanathan is excellence in Carnatic Violin. His music will touch many generations to come. To all the deranged individuals who gave a thumbs down, "NASTY". To all who can appreciate the brilliance of Kunnakudy Vaidhyanathan's Carnatic Violin performance, my sincere embrace.
Had the good fortune to hear kunnakudi ji several times...a real maestro who could produce lively and scintillating music, he loved the instrument and made the audience love it...truly a master craftsman.
The Legend enthralled me in my childhood days when I heard him on the gramophone, radio and later, Doordarshan. He and the violin were one, a sort of a union at birth or probably across lifetimes. There won't ever be another of his league in a long, long time - unless he decides to descend again to make all dance to his tunes - literally! To me, all of music has never been the same after his exit and that of Saraswati incarnate MS.
I had always only wondered how this man plays with the violin. .n I had seen him on TV playing light music too...oh..whst an incredible hold on d instrument n d deep knowledge of d ragas n thr nuances...only once jn a life time can we cm across such talent
Great man whom my little words fail to describe. An innovator of new ways to operate the violin to produce new language to music to the delight and muse of listeners who can appreciate music in true sense...Excluding those who don't want to appreciate deliberately for selfish ends
He has gladdened the hearts of not only tamil but all music lovers across language and regional barriers. Music has no other language but love and Kunnakudi has touched millions of hearts including telugus like me with his mellifluous mastery of violin. Thank God for such maestros.
What a melodious voice of K.J.Jesudas! By hearing Ksheerasagara I was feeling I was in heaven.May god give him good health to all the members of his family.
Someone is worried about less number of comments. I am worried about the dislikes. How can somebody dislike such masterpiece? Beyond my understanding. Maestro is sublime as always and beyond such likes or dislikes. Simply divine. 🙏🙏🙏
