Kuranda Village is a rural town on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.
Kuranda is located approximately 25km from Cairns and is easily accessible by road or bus but if you feel like an adventure why not try the Scenic Railway or Skyrail. We have other videos on both of these.
We took the Skyrail up to Kuranda Village and returned on the Scenic Railway. We were amazed at how much there is to see and do here and totally misjudged our timing.
However, in this video we try to give you a flavour of some of the things you might like to do if you choose to visit beautiful Kuranda Village.

We were just recently in Kuranda day trip from cruise ship, lovely little hippy village, very humid though, I can't believe that could be a coffee. 😂 Thanks for the memories. 😊

Great Northern is actually brewed at Yatala on the Gold Coast, it’s not from North QLD like many people think.

Hi Rob and Ali, hope you are both well. I watched your video with fond memories of Kuranda as we did a land based holiday to Cairns in 2019. You would have loved the butterfly 🦋 place Ali, it was amazing. I learnt some history too as I didn't know about the war plane crash either. Hi Erika. Thanks for watching. We have been to Cairns a couple of times, went for our honeymoon actually but we have never ventured up the Tablelands during those stays. Will definitely look at it next time when we aren't as limited on time. Thanks for the recommendation.

Wow looks amazing :) you have cemented my plans, I'm def doing a land based holiday to Cairns :) i have a deal for $799 pp that covers 4 nights at the double tree by Hilton in Cairns and 3 nights in Port Douglas with flights included. It's a discounted deal on one of my websites :) im def going to book it soon :) my fiance was born in Cairns. So maybe a 2025 holiday :)

Hi Deb. That sounds like a really great deal. More than half of that cost would be for the flights alone. Which website was that on? We've been looking at Groupon deals and trip-a-deals lately for something special to do towards the end of next year for our 'milestone' birthdays. There really are some great deals out there at the moment. Lock it in while you can, you don't want to miss that one.
