Last chapter when Ohma mentions “i think that real martial arts will be able to compete with guys like him” it was foreshadowing this. Kuroki will give a decent fight and actually make Shen break a sweat. Once Shen realizes how much of a threat Kuroki is, he’ll get serious and will injure or incapacitate Kuroki in some way. Lolong and Kanoh will win their fights, but Yan won’t die. That Worm top officer will most likely be killed by Lolong. And we’ll finally see what Kuroki, Kanoh, and Lolong are really made of when they’re fighting to kill and not in a match bound by rules

Seeing the Kanoh and Rolon duo again, just feels so good.

I don't think Kuroki will die. I feel like Rolon and Agito will win their fights, and it eventually will be a 3v1 against Shen. They'll probably end up maiming Shen permanently in some way, but Shen will go full power and end up pushing them back and saving Yan and escape.

Just imagine guys how glorious it would be the watch these upcoming chapters animated one day. One can only dream. The hype is real!

What's crazy is that Kuroki is that strong without any "boosts". No multiple lives, no Removal, No Formless/Split personality, No Superman Syndrome...just peak martial arts. Jurota is like that too in a sense which I find super impressive.

Something I wonder about the wording of Shen, when he says “Stronger than anyone I’ve met in this country”. Does this imply he has met people stronger than Kuroki outside of Japan ? Maybe I am reading too much into this but maybe we will see someone even more monstrous than the legendary beard

About the country, Shen meets other monsters like Other Niko and Gilbert in China(?). I confess, I was thinking that Shen would win without difficulty. We have to pay attention to details, though. Even in Ashura, we never saw the full power of Kuroki or what he understands as the fulfillment of his potential, and now, what he achieved with his training.

I think there's a good possibility that the 3 heroes will be defeated just to strengthen the point of how powerful the connector is. Then there will be a huge plot twist to bring Ohma and Ryuki at a level where they'll be a challenge to the connector. I think the author is just showing us why the fighter we know aren't strong enough for this enemy

Ok crazy Theory, call me dumb if you want but hear me out. What is the universal Enemy of every Martial artist no matter how talented he is or how hard he trained? The Answer is Time. Every Fighter enters his Prime someday but in the End it all fades due to progressing age. My Theory is that Shen only can use his Breathlessness when he is totally calm and relaxed, which is given to the Fact that he can beat anyone in a blink of an eye, without breaking a Sweat. But what if Kuroki can drive him to a Point where Shen loses his cool and actually has to breath to keep up, which would result in a rapid aging process. So now he needs his vessel Ryuki even more and lose some Preperation Time for the Tournament. I could also imagine that due to his Cloning, Huisheng and Minduploading, Shen never made the experience to live in an old Body, while Kuroki aged like a fine wine

I love this character because he was introduced as ' just one of the other competitors' that make you think he would just be cool filler. Even in the OP he was 'just there' at the last seconds. He had no screen presence as all these major and personal antagonists were popping up and we were lured in to think one of them is the final boss. Nope. This rando beat all those final villains instead of the protagonist and took the title if final boss. And even beat the protagonist in the final match! What a breath of fresh air.

Just thinking about kuroki gives me goosbumps.

The fact that Shen stated that Kuroki is stronger than anyone else he met just proves how much of a absolute monster Kuroki became after Ashura. Even likely proving that he surpassed Gaoh Mukaku. Which I think is debatable now. This is the most up to date chapter we get to see him in action and he's definitely gonna pull some shit on Shen regardless of Kuroki most likely losing!
