"And sure our illusion system make cards so real that they can destroy buildings and hurt people. Why you say that is a bad idea to make monsters with the power to destroy whole city real?"
@@aozorahaou2643Yeah. As a way to describe how Satellite Cannon could be attacked by Blue-Eyes (since its IRL effect prevents lower level monsters from attacking it)
I mean, when you think about what cards Dennis uses, in context of the show's plot, he's essentially using the corpses of people he's murdered. So yeah, fuck him in particular.
Dennis: *appears* Kurosaki: HE IS A FUSION SPY LET'S K!LL HIM Everyone: Stay calm Kurosaki he is dennis the trusty dennis our loyal friend *Dennis reveals he is a Fusion Spy* Everyone: Kurosaki if you say "i Told you" we are leaving you behind in the synchro Dimension Kurosaki: Fine by me... I TOLD YOU!!!
If I'm not mistaken, It's a remix of Sora's theme from the first duel against Shun/Shay, when he first summoned Frightfur Chimera, scaring the hell out of all child spectators in the process
@@shadowangel6359 OG had Berserk Soul, GX had Zane's Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, Arc-V had this. Makes me wanna go back and see if 5Ds, Zexal, and Vrains had similar moments
@@PhoenixLance13 Zexal had Yuma in his Dark Zexal form going up against Vector. He used his Utopia Hope Ray V to repeatly attack Vector's Monster with the help of Utopia's Dark Zexal Weapon.
i love that shun basically has a deck of bird gundams. fucking awesome. also, while i think he lost just a liiiiittle too often, he lost enough to always give you that 'defeated' vibe while winning enough to be considered a threat in every duel he had. the idea of a guy fueled by vengeance and loss was nice. when they did it again with kaito, he was almost too strong? shun was almost just right.
Kurosaki was handled well enough that the losses weren't too unacceptable, but earned enough ire of those who loved the character. He lost at appropriate times, I think logically, but I feel like some of those times, such as the rematch with Sora, he still should have won. Other than that, losing to Crow, Yuya, even Kaito, seemed fair.
@@Arondeight basically agree except i didn't want him to lose to crow. it's fine he loses, he's not meant to be the best, but him losing to crow in particular annoyed me. they did a really good job with him overall tho
@Madheim777 just has a ptsd flash back to yugioh gx😂 "tod have you ever watched a dinosaur with a bandana and super man wanna be destroy a space station in front of your own eyes I have that shits awsome!"
I loved that duel a lot,as a pure raidraptor enjoyer, seeying him just go off blasting everyone he met with some mecha birbs was trully inspiring to me
Yeah and still yuya insists on ruining with his "Duels is for fun" BULLS@#T This kid don't have any sense about how much shun and yuto suffered because of the academy and still try to interfere on their quest for Retribuition.
Yeah and I want Yuma to meet him if he travels to the Arc V World during the Numeron Code reversal. If Yuma and Arc V Kite are the main characters if the second Zexel series happened and if there is no Shark, then Shay should step in and replace Shark as one of the 3 main characters in that series. It would be cool if it happened.
Not forgetting if Double X docked with GS-Falcon Technically it's the original SATELLITE CANNON FALCON ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DGsFFrlQeH4.html
Arc V has some funny recent coincidences with recent tcg content: - The sound effect used for Raidraptor cries is an altered variant of the one used for Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu back in 5Ds - Maze of Millennia boosters feature the same Earthbound Prisoner cards used by Vizier's cyborg dude - Maze of Millennia also drops a single Earthbound Immortal: Aslla Piscu. So i lowkey imagined that cyborg dude would eventually just throw out an Aslla Piscu sometime during his final match Also gotta love how -SPOILER- the final portal scene from S2 is a reference to Zero Incident from 5Ds
honestly i imagine rising rebellion falcon being Summoned out of the Emblem of the new Rank up magic instead of exploding out of the Overlay network and then it spreads its fiery wings similar to how Ra did when it gone into phoenix mode in DM also cherry ontop its probably Just as Massive as Earthbound immortal monsters does
@@YuseiFudou3019 For me, I imagine the opponent first being confused and calling out that the ranks don't add up. After all, there can't be a Rank 13 only for Shun to basically tell them to shut up and watch as Rising Rebellion Falcon enters the stage to everyone's horror/awe.
all of this and now he has the second ever printed and third ever showcased rank 13 xyz monster. To think I've been one of the few and only people to construct a rogue and pure raidraptor deck and can summon up to 3 rank 13s in a single turn while putting up multiple disruptions. I feel honored to main this deck.
We, the big mechanical bird enjoyers, eating good. Kinda irks me that we are more well known as Kali Yuga turbo deck, I wish that card is banned so we can just showcase the deck actual strength.
Kali Yuga (and similar cards) need an errata that makes it so the lock only works if you summon it during your own turn. These monsters are meant to secure OTKs, so limit them to that.
So fucking cool. I often yell at my screen when Yuya tries to prevent this kind of stuff, because ffs man you have NO idea what Shay went through! Let him have this.
In Yuya’s defence. He is only a 14 year old kid who effectively got dragged into a war that literally no one but Academia asked for. Plus he just wants everyone to NOT kill each other.
While it is true that Yuya does not understand the pain that Shun has been through (at least not without glimpsing at Yuto's memories), keep in mind that he is still a 14 year old boy who was raised on a philosophy of entertainment and smiles. Shun's life is inherently alien to him. Also, I feel most people would at least try to stop someone from attempting to murder someone (turning someone into a card is the Arc V equivalent to killing them if Dennis's carding is anything to go by) in the middle of a stadium which is also being broadcasted on live television.
@@esteban8471 And let's not forget that when the carding attempt didn't work, Shay was about to _physically_ assault Dennis. Most likely with the intent to kill. The only reason Dennis didn't die that day was because he was removed from the arena.
Geez, sometimes I wonder what kind of person they had to hire to come up with some of the stuff that Shay says and does. But I will say this, most of the time, he gets results and this is a perfect example of it.
Damn, I forgot how ridiculous the range of this Solid Vision system really was. It can project a hologram into fucking space. From the looks of it, around 10 THOUSAND kilometers up. They certainly came a long way from just playing card games on tables
I think Jack does not value that much brutal duels like this, because he was also disappointed by the duel between Yuya and Crow where the former was enraged and dueled in a very ruthless way.
If only Rise Falcon's wingbeat was enough to pummel Yuya into a wall and made him fall unconscious, that satellite beam should've obliterated the entire arena.
2:52 anyone else notice this flaw when watching Arc-V or 5Ds? When they turn the runner sideways like this, it should make them go I that direction. The runners, especially in auto-pilot, are programmed to go straight, so turning the runner like that would just have to go sharply to the right or left.
I know this dates me horribly...but I can't hear the Raid Raptor screeches and NOT hear Tally-hawk from the old Silverhawks cartoon from back in the day...I actually had that as a toy once, got lucky and found it at a flea market..thing was one of the bigger toys I had at the time but I sadly lost it when I moved in to take care of my grandparents.
Is it against the rules when the people he's fighting are murderers It kinda stopped being a children's card game when the technology developed enough to make the monsters actual physical beings without any magic at that point its people sending their pet monsters to kill each other 😅
@@vargas1445 which is pretty realistic when you think about it people in powerful positions get away with stuff like that all the time and akaba Leo is literally in one of the most powerful positions in his dimension
If you've watched the AOT dub, this is the anime where Floch first became a total badass. That's right, you were watching Shay Obsidian in AOT this entire FREAKING time. Only TRUE OGs know where Matt Shipman started in the anime industry, and Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V was one of 'em >:)
As epic that is, I can't that it seriously. 😀 They talk about so much about serious issues such as war, forced labor and oppression in that anime. But then they walk around with their cards 😀 It was so funny to see how the Policemen stand around the protagonist with their Duel Disks and announce their moves and describe what their cards do. "Don't move or I draw a card" Sorry, but that take a lot away from the seriousness. "Oh no, my Lifepoints are 0. I can't arrest that person." But still, I really like ArcV.
To be fair, it's a bit easier to take seriously in Arc V when you remember that Solid Vision makes the monsters real. Other Yugioh series did this too with magic or other unspecified supernatural abilities of a similar nature, but Solid Vision was accessible to everyone.
@@esteban8471 I knew that^^ But that don't make it really better 😀 "Hey lets make the monsters real and then put 2 underage children in the battlearena." Also yeah the cards are real, but still it look and sound silly. LIke I say^^, the protagonist are surrounded by policemen, and they talk about, what their cards do and act like there are in a normal duel. And I sit there and think, "Just go there and grab them. You're 10 grown up policemen and these are a group of children. Put away your cards and arrest them" 😀
@@rickodomatazo8707 I mean, yeah. There's always going to be that sense of disbelief when it comes to Yugioh no matter how grandiose and/or realistic they make the monsters.
@@esteban8471 In Duel Monsters, the thing with the magic was different. If Yami Bakura get you into a shadow duel, there was, in my eyes, more and real danger. It was more Pressure and threat. The Duel were Bakura fight against Bones, he even catch him and his friends in the Shadow realm, so they can't escape. Also Bakura himself was much more impressive and intimidating. He also sometimes don't play around and attack directly. Also the Duel had to him and the other characters, that had a connection to antic Egypt, a deeper meaning. In ArcV, it feels not that much and more ridiculous. The Policemen who stand there with their duel disk like guns. It feels like you film children fighting with water pistols and then want to sell it as a movie about World War 1.
@@rickodomatazo8707 Like I said, Yugioh always had a sense of disbelief regardless of how much they hyped up the cards being vital to society and everyday life. Hell, a card created the universe in Zexal and even then, that sounds ridiculous when you stop and think about it.
