I'd like to complain about the Phantom Knight being in the deck! NAAAH JK!! LMAO! I love this take man! is as pure as it gets!!! Thanks to you, I am new to this after getting creamed by a Raidraptor duelist LOL! I fell inlove with the deck since then!(a month ago).

Pure Raidraptors Means no phantom knights (Konami was being lazy when they did that shit) And no simorgh. ( I don't know why people keep saying that's pure raid but you have simorgh in it)

Thank you! I like to try to keep my extra deck to one archetype if possible. It may not be the most competitive that way but it sure is fun and forces you to be creative!

@@matricy the only thing i hate abt the raidraptor deck that i use is that i don't have counters for the hero archtype and runick, i absolutely hate it when i go against them but i also don't want to change my deck cus I had a good plan whenever i play ;-;

Highly recommend! I think their boss monsters’ art and abilities got me hooked

the goal that I typically have when using these birds are that I have to get out air raid to kill 1, and incase it get destroyed, it can float to the original revolution falcon

I recently finished the anime myself and loved his character so much that I had to include it lol

This video is a themed build not really a build for competitive play so instead of using your go to handtraps I opted to use more themed spell and traps from the rapidraptor archetype. If you’re looking to climb the ranks this deck would have handtraps and a ton of other cards.

Hey James! It’s funny you mention that as I think that is what my next video will be. A bit different then this style of video I usually make but I find pure raidraptor to be a tough challenge and want to come up with unique combos. In the middle of putting some together right now. Plus it’s hard to find pure RR guides as almost no one runs them pure. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!

To use stranger falcon’s effect where you pop a monster on the field it requires stranger falcon to have an XYZ monster attached to it as material. You can certainly use mimicry to go intro stranger if you do not intend to use his effect which destroys an opponents monster. Also sometimes you may have too many monsters on the field and may not want to turn them all into level 5 because it might be difficult to overlay them later. Especially if you want force strix since he requires level 4’s. In my opinion the best time to use mimicry effect to go into blaze or stranger is when you have only two raidraptor monsters on the field and when you don’t need to use stranger’s effect because then you can save raiders knight and use less extra deck resources overall.

Makes sense, I was just always more of a blaze falcon fan since it doesn't target.

@@KamuiShiro101 gotcha. If I have both in the extra deck I usually go for stranger fist if I don’t need non targeting and use blaze to get out of trickier situations

Yeah it’s really tough because the combos are endless and you have to use the boss monsters’ effects appropriately depending on what your opponent has on the field. If you’re interested the latest video on my channel is a combo tutorial + guide for a pure RR build

@@matricy I've been practicing the raidraptor phantom knights deck pretty much every day since that comment and I'm pretty good at it, but I've come back to this video and the stuff you do is insane!!! I had no appreciation for how cool your plays were! Necro targeting arsenal, the satellite falcon clip gave me goosebumps, just omg!!! I want to finish this whole video and build this deck right now!!!

I had just been using stuff like gagagaga into arsenal into the black phantom knights spell into king Kali yuga, and I thought that was cool lol

Nope! That’s kinda the theme of the deck / video. It’s meant to be more of an anime style deck and not a competitive one. You could definitely add hand traps and extra deck negating monster cards as well.

Hence why it’s called PURE raidraptors. No meta cards.
