Toshiro is now zombiefied. He's mindless, and the power from Hyorinmaru that he couldn't control is now being demonstrated. The way he fights here is also the way he normally *doesn't* fight as he's not this brutal at all and doesn't utilize the ice in different ways since he doesn't even know how to control it to begin with but he knows the extreme danger of it. He holds back on a regular basis because of this. He has the *strongest* ice elemental Zanpakto Also the fact that he was this brutal when his Bankai wasn't fully matured goes to show his potential. I'd hate to see a zombiefied version of his matured bankai.

The amount of ice could have to do with where they are, wandenreich is already a snowy place and toshiros bankai uses water in the main to make ice so there’s probably so much more water in the area than normal

The issue is like Yamamoto, their element is so strong that even just turning on bankai it affects the entire area as a side effect. Yamamoto's intense heat and Hitsugaya's storm clouds.

iirc, Hisagi achieved bankai after this arc, not before.

Kensei and Rose were turned into zombies after they were dead. It's explained in the anime/manga that doing it this way they're way less powerful than normal. Hitsugaya was alive when he became a zombie, so his cells were still fresh and his strenght was almost the same.

I hope Steve Staley’s scream has improved from his FKT arc one.. That is the ONLY issue I have with dub Toshiro, he sounds perfect when speaking normally or even in the midst of battle, but his screams of pain and agony have always been kinda lackluster. You’ll also notice this when listening to Neji too. Mayuri on the other hand knocks it out of the park every time
