Fly Pangea was actually a good name for an airline much better than the crap they went with in the end. It surprised me that nobody in the boardroom knew what it meant.
I love how everyones ripping into him for being "stupid" but the whole point of him being on the show was to play a character lol! He was auditoning guys! He's not into business nor cares about it. He just wanted a platform to showcase his acting through playing an obnoxious character. Seems like he fooled you all hahahaha
We can agree to disagree. He was very articulate in his speech and had a confident, calm demeanour. Waffler, you may think he is but we all know that candidates who haven't gone on to win the show have actually proven themselves to be far more successful than the winners themselves! 🙂
This dude was on the show soley due to the fact he was hilarious and made good BBC entertainment Domt believe for a second Lord Sugar was gonna let him be his business partner lmao
As useless as he might have been, Fly Pangaea was actually a decent name if marketed properly. Those girls knew exactly what they were doing when they renamed it ''Jet Pop''. Not even a stupid person would name an airline that. They knew he was on his last chance with Lord Sugar, so losing a task as PM would have definitely got him fired. Intentional sabotage if you ask me.
'Fly Pangaea' is an interesting name and I like it. 'Pangaea' was the single continental landmass that formed in the late Paleozoic era before splitting into the 7 we know now. But also - some geologists hypothesise that the continents will once again fuse - in 250 million years' time - into a supercontinent called 'Pangaea Ultima'. So the name's story draws a parallel to our own story as humans: We originated in the same place, and later left to explore all four corners of the Earth. We became estranged from one another. And now we are fusing nations and continents together through air travel. Pangaea Ultima is made possible 250 million years before its time. ...Unfortunately, Kurran got Pangaea confused with Gondwana and Laurasia.
kayode was a bubbly and strong character however his business acumen failed him in the sales task where he drastically dropped the price in order to get imminent sales which provided smaller profits.

Fly Pangea was actually an excellent name, though it’s baffling how he managed to come up with such a good name but absolutely failed when it came to explaining the concept
5:35 " i had a plan but I can't say it had anything to do with business" *Audience laughing their heads off! *Him: straight face, simply spoke his find. And probably wasn't even trying to be funny, just spoke honestly!
I’d love a meeting between him and Jim, I think the Irish Patrick Bateman would win a debate but It would be entertaining they may have even teamed up 😂😂
There weren't to parts of the world. They're was just and only 1 part of the world ovbiously. 1 big bit of land before they split and the continents were formed
All the candidates and even Lord Sugar acting like he was speaking Swahili when talking about Pangaea were just proving their own ignorance toward a common scientific fact. That was painful to watch, it's a shame they didn't go with Fly Pangaea.
He kinda got screwed on that airline task. Fly Pangea was actually a pretty good name and Jackie and Camilla completely messed up the branding. JetPop is one of the worst names ever for an airline lol and the poster was terrible too. He was useless most tasks but he was so entertaining.
