Is it the camera or is it software or is it something else? I don’t know but I love it. I mean the musical performance is awesome obvs BUT PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THAT BOUNCE EFFECT!
It 'seems' like using stabilization, but rather than stabilizing to the environment, they picked 'her', so everything else moves. I've never seen it used quite like this, and it's really amazing. All the editing through the series this year has been amazing, this one really stands out.
It’s software. I’ve done it with Final Cut but im sure all the apps can do it now. You track Karen jumping frame by frame (there are tools that can automate some of this) then apply a negative motion to the clip. It ends up looking like she’s not moving vertically but the background is.
This holiday season has got to be so freaking hard for Dave. Glad to see him having fun and performing. This is my favorite by far with amazing camera work. Dang that girl bounces 😂✌️
