If you ask me, True Legacy should be an IPPV that happens once a year like Wrestlemania. The title True Legacy can mean that whoever has their moment on that night will cement their place, their Legacy, in WCPW history
Ross Either this or Refuse to Lose. Both have that connotation that this can be your moment to cement yourself as a legend. Maybe RtL can be like their Royal Rumble to True Legacy's WrestleMania.
it seems like every Wrestler loves WCPW and it's crowd... El Patron couldn't stop smiling, Cody Rhodes really loves Wrestling again, Moose loved the chants and even guys like Cornette and Jim Ross seem to enjoy working for them, not to mention Kurt Angle who obviously has fun... and with 2500 people in the arena WCPW grew pretty fast
Just want to say I had the pleasure of meeting Kurt three months ago. I brought a sign to the event that simply said "Angle Still Sucks, It's So Damn True!" and when he got a look at it, his face lit up in a grin and he said "This is great!" Signed it, was really chill, rapped with me for a few minutes, told me a good story about Nakamura, and then added on the bottom of the sign, "You suck" with two underlines for emphasis. Have it framed in my room now. If he hates the you suck chants, he sure is good at hiding it!
John Cena is a good wrestler, lets not look past that lmao. Sure you can call me a "sheep"(stupid ass term), but Cena has had great matches, and great promos so don't say no "con-artist"
Small detail I really like about WCPW is how the referees are treated. Don't think they get enough appreciation in other companies but having the ref get involved with the cartwheel was great (as was the crowd reaction), also Suzuki raising the hand of the ref at the end of his match.
He should have said it was an unbelievably UNforgettable night evening. What he said means the show was one you immediately want to forget because it was unbelievably awful. The city had nothing to do with the goof-up. And man, I miss Cornette on CC. Back when I got to watch Ohio Valley Wrestling every week with him booking it and calling it, it was amazing. Now, it has never-gonna-be's and looks like it is being produced by a poor HS's A/V department.
WCPW has a reputation for bad audio. I have no idea why they want one, but they must, because they don't seem to care much about their audio. Meanwhile, their graphics and camera work has always been very good. *shrugs*
That fucking awful microphone audio tho. HE IS.. AN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST... K-*static* Inside voices when you're using a microphone from poundland please mate.
Fuck, I would have never thought that WhatCulture would have me as hooked as the bloody bastards do. Props to them. I wish they could do an American tour like NXT does from time to time.
Cody isn't even that good, he never was that good. WWE have always had a bunch of talent that are so much better than him. And this guy wants to fight Shibata lmao Cody will get killed.
You're a fucking idiot. Summerslam had AJ vs Cena which was fucking amazing and Balor vs Rollins was good too and Hell in the Cell was meh I could agree if it was HIAC by itself
Hoi. Doei. Did you read my comment? HIAC was heavy gimmicked matches Summerslam had two very good matches in Balor vs Rollins and Styles vs Cena. Hell in the Cell probably had two good matches also. KO vs Rollins and Sasha vs Charlotte. Neither was either great honestly
I am glad that Kurt got back to close to the shape he was classically. Circa 2011 he did not look healthy. Happy to see my 2nd fav. of all time looking good.
Hard to be a better version of a product, when it's only successful due to the starpower of former wrestlers from said product. It's fun to watch, don't get me wrong, but let's not be delusional here.
Lexic Batman probably one of the best wrestling bookers, commentators and geniuses of all time one of the best minds for the act of professional wrestling
If he had gotten pushed the fans would say he is only getting pushed because of his daddy. So I'm happy they treated him bad so the fans like him and get behind him more.
Daniel Cruz yeah, he could have a world title run but they made him into an intergalactic weirdo and he laid down for stephen amell... well, good call for cody to leave and bad call for vinnie mac to deny cody a decent push...
You know someone's pure quality in this profession when they're making an emotional speech and still remembering to sell the injury that just cost them the match. Great stuff all round.
Chris Pagan - then you don' t pay attention to the reported figures on show attendance that the WWE releases. It DID draw more than a lot of house shows and close to what some Raws and SDLs draw.
These are the types of fucking idiots, who think WCPW is better then WWE. Go fuck yourself, WCPW is shit compared to TNA. I completely prove my point with you idiots. DirkAustin.
I just recently discovered WCPW and holy freakin' Moses it's been a breath of fresh air! Great match. Reminded me of when I first fell in love with wrestling as a kid!
Two very emotional notes...almost brings a tear to my eye to see how wonderful Kurt looks, he's himself again! He's got his perfect stocky yet ripped frame and a healthy glow that he hasn't had in many, many years! Anybody that knows anything about Kurt's personal life knows that he came very close to being the next Eddie Guerrero in a tragic way, so it's just so special to see him looking like 2005 Kurt. Second, Cody's love of wrestling deserves all the respect in the world. He could have stayed with WWE and collected checks, instead he wanted to wrestle, really wrestle, and he made the right decision!
I've been a huge fan of Cody for ages, the IC title suited him soo well. Glad he's back in love with professional wrestling and in WCPW again. Future champ I hope.
i love how everyone is chanting "you suck" even though we all love him and he knows it! such a legend, hopefully we will see him one more time in the WWE
wow kurt angle could still move at this point in time! a year later in wwe he was already slowed down by that leg injury. he said on his podcast that he wished wwe would have let him wrestle FIRST, then go in the hall of fame, GM of raw etc. a real bummer... one of the greatest of all time. he had hands down one of the absolute best runs in the history of the business. miss seeing him on tv every week:-(
Such a great match. I love their styles. Watching them you don't get the feeling that their respective moveset is only possible with the opponent assisting, which makes the match so much more entertaining and believable. I think this is as close as you can get to combat sports within the ruleset of pro wrestling. I do like this way more than any Omega vs Okada match (seen them all, the fourth encounter just today, which I guess Meltzer will give something between 6 and 17 stars)...
