Kurt has maturity I never thought he was capable of, but back in the day I was rooting for Spencer to kick his butt...

I just realized. When Jimmy Spencer is yelling, he sounds tick for tat the same as Paul Heyman

Those were the days when someone had the balls to actually take a real swing when they fight!

I was at MIS that day and always listened to Jimmy on the scanner. We saw Busch messing with Jimmy and heard Spencer tell his spotter to tell that 97 car one more time and he was getting an asskicking after the race. When we got home and turned on RPM tonight there it was Spencer punched Busch, had to love Spencer!!!

I used to not like Kurt much, but I appreciate it when drivers like Kurt/Juan Pablo stick it out with a team through the struggles, too. They both know they are capable drivers and finally their loyalty to their respective teams through a couple hard years is starting to pay off.

He's been my favorite since I began watching NASCAR. He's won more races then Dale Jarrett and The Labonte brothers and they have won championships. Plus he dominated IROC and those cars were built to run the same

i hate how whenever there's a confrontation or something they get the "authorities" involved... fans love that stuff it's great for the sport i think... it shows the drivers are passionate about what they do and it helps put an end to the stereotype of "oh nascar is just a bunch of guys driving around in circles"

Still remember this. Was absolute bullshit that Kurt got a slap in the wrist, while Jimmy Spencer got suspended a race. Yes, Jimmy should of been punished, but if anybody deserved to be suspended, it was Kurt, not Jimmy. The guy even admitted, with the world to hear it, pretty much admit that he tried to intentionally cut down Jimmy Spencers tire.

You know the NASCAR In-Car and Hot Pass archives are mostly lost media now.

Kurt's car ran out of gas. He ran out of gas with a lap and a half left in the race. He got a splash to finish the race and thats why he ran out in the garage are.

Thats nothing i watched Tom Baldwin at Islip speedway get out of his 7 coupe jump on the nerf bar of the 555 as it was moving and punch the crape out of him. the old mod drivers were the best ever not these young punks thrown in million dollar rides.

Anyone have a transcript of what Spencer says? All I could understand was "Get out of that car! Come on!"

Yep, Kurt is miles ahead of McMurray as far as being a great driver goes. Kurt was beating Jamie while he was at Ganassi, and Jamie has top-notch equipment now and Kurt is beating him with his Penske Dodge.

Those guys where great at calling races.

Dale Earnhardt more than likely did what Kurt Busch did here (i.e. say that he was going to intentionally wreck somebody), only difference is, we couldn't hear his radio back then. ;-)

@Gforcebond he got hit from behind by Jimmy, and Kurts car was running till he got punched. Besides Jimmy was doing this bullshit to Kurt about a year before this. This (in my opinion) was one of the last great feuds in Nascar. Course I don't know why I am defending Kurt

Thats all what the auto hobby become now adays, I tried to get onto a NHRA track and they wouldnt let me said I had too much rubber fuel line said it was a risk of breaking when running, Kinda funny considering the fuel pump is a 9 psi electric fuel pump for a carbed engine and the fuel hose was 60 psi rated EFI hose. doubt it would break on its own.

@513captinhook when i said kyle busch won all 3 divisions. that's a 1st for anyone in nascar. It meant he won all three divisions in the same weekend, Not the 1st to win all three divisions throughout many years. and kurt would have more wins if he ran the lower series races too! and we counted them as the wins your counting in all nascar series. jimmy never champed in winston/sprint cup. so yeah kurts still the way better driver!

Kurt said Jimmy isn't a "once was", he's a "never has been." Jimmy's only 2 wins? Restrictor plate tracks. 1 Daytona, and Talladega. Kurt's right.

@beertits4me um well NO your wrong.i was the track videographer ,(not just a fan with a camera in the crowd) i spent over $50,000 on video equipement. my videos were used on the local news. my FRIEND "BRENDAN GAUGHAN" is just 1 of the drivers that we hung out with. kurt busch i hung out with him for about 20min.(not a friend but 1 cool dude)and i never said my dad was famous,but he was rookie of the year 1966 and raced bobby allison and richard petty.so i think thats pretty cool!

Kurt actually had a little surgery done to fix that :D
