Steven King Pff, clown. You don't need to, as annoying as it sounds, it isn't necessary. Look at these types of interviews and then look at him after Kurt died; he rarely smiles, he's always serious, damn, he was his best friend, man.
I know everybody only pays attention to Kurt because he was a vocalist and he died and he's sadly basically a trend now among kids now. Half of the kids running around with Nirvana shirts can't name anybody but Kurt. And every once and a while some kid can name Dave.

Anyone else notice Kurt's reaction when Krist talks about living for 70 years?! I feel in that moment he saw his entire life and he knew for certain he wasn't sticking around. The dude was already struggling for sure and he was stubborn about it. RIP KC - you're sorely missed.
I wouldn't read into that so much, Kurt and Dave both are obviously rolling there eyes or seem annoyed when krist starts rambling can't blame them dude talks alot of shit haha, he also smiles a couple secs after hes anticipating krist to ramble on but finds it amusing instead, I've heard Kurt himself say In interviews krist could get annoying like that.

But trust me dude I have never in my life (other than this) made any comment on any vid here in RU-vid land - I'm legit when I said what I thought re Kurts facial expression at that moment and I tells ya, the guy meant business. Play it a few times dude and you might see what I'm seeing... It's the look of fear and shock. Definitely not disappointment at what Krist said.
However, I think the video should be renamed to Nirvana Stoned interview. Cobain was good, but he wasn't the only one and people need to stop focusing on just the frontman or woman, and give homage to the band too. It is all about the music, is it not?
And, people also need to recognize Dave Grohl for his own talents with Queens of the Stone Age and The Foo Fighters. He's done much on his own too, and made his own name as well.
Kurt made this band he practically wrote every song that is including Smells like teen spirit that shoot them to the scene, he could easily get other band members ( not saying that there were not good players) but a singer without Kurt would not been Nirvana.
It’s so crazy how Krist and Dave switched personalities after Kurt died. Dave has such a big personality and Krist is the quiet one now. It’s hard to even recognize them after watching interviews like this one

Really nothing, heavy the loved to mess around with interviews they tried to make the interviews out there as possible, they also wanted to give nothing to the media because they always spun it their own way even if they got the true opinion or not. Krist, Kurt & Dave all smoked, Dave gave it up first while in the band and Kurt his history is more known but the amount he did was most likely greatly exaggerated like so many rock stories are.
Interesting point. I "slacked off" for quite awhile because I felt the same way, about contributing to something I didn't believe in and in a way that didn't really matter. Eventually that lead to me finding my passion. Rock on.
