@@shmegol1140 I'm so into this and this has deeply resonated with me my entire life. April 7 1994 is my first memory. I personally think it was Kurt's april 4, you know, I've always been upset w the 5 However I feel whoever came and fucked him up did so before he would have slept
@@okayspacewitch I honestly can't believe that most people think that he killed himself there is overwhelming evidence that he couldn't have killed himself Like the shotgun shell was on the wrong side, he did a amount of heroin that would make it impossible to pull the trigger, and courtney love has lied and contradicted herself many times
I do think Buzz was envious of Kurt, but I also think he feels very strongly about how Kurt's death happened, and he doesn't want dishonest portrayals circulating about Kurt. Sure, Buzz has insulted Kurt regarding his drug use, and said some disturbing things over time, actually. But I think when it comes to the topic of Kurt's death, that Buzz feels strongly about how it happened and has been portrayed. I think it says it all when Buzz says "do you WANT him to be suicidal? would you feel better?" But that doesn't mean he won't also call Kurt out for being a junkie that couldn't keep things together after a while... Buzz is opinionated and speaks off the cuff...
I was pretty much obsessed with Kurt when I was a teenager and all through my 20's. I read and watched everything I could. So much so, that now when I hear his voice, it reminds me of my childhood and is more like hearing an old friend, makes me sad and nastalgic! (Hope that make sense and doesn't sound strange, lol). I agree with the majority on here about MOH. The interviews were all bullshit, but it was awesome to see his art and hear stories from him. From what I remember, there are a few videos of him seeming very happy, joking around and being what he was, a 27 YEAR OLD KID! Towards the end is super sad cause you see the H take over and he gets so skinny and is noding out more often. When I was 13, I thought 27 was so much older. But now that I'm more or less in my late 30's, I realize the "27 Club" was just a bunch of kids trying to figure life and themselves out! They were all so extremely talented and way too young to die 🖤
same here im 43 now about 16 years older than 27 , i still feel the same way when i hear a nirvana song , he never really lived to be honest . it was wham bam then over , he should never have done what he did . he had money and could be doing art and whatever in peace.
I feel like this as well , it makes me smile to hear him cracking jokes but also makes me sad cuz you get a sense of how young he really was I'm 39 almost 40 I remember the phenomena that was Nirvana it was like something so familiar yet so brand new fkn timeless and I feel the same way I did then it's like the big brother that's been gone forever but his voice and vision live on
The crazy thing is, Black Flag was a very popular band in 1984, so I guarantee there was a photographer at the show Buzz took Kurt to. Wouldn't it be crazy if some old photographer has a photo of Kurt and Buzz in the crowd and does not even realize it!!
@@LordKreiden apparently you don't know I've been a Nirvana fan since Bleach. And I'm asking in the context of his post. Please take your negative energy elsewhere
@@dylangajdosik964 Well that's great. I think Kurt's death and he himself is stuck in a time warp. He will always be 27 and he will always live in that decade. This to me is an inconsolable truth. All we can do is keep the man's dignity. We cannot control what Courtney and Francis does. As said, Dave and Krist did legally battle Courtney for years. They are the more reliable narratives
@@ariaacheson201 Exactly, these people are in denial hard. I think some things she lied about like their sex, her not cheating on him but him somehow knowing she thought about it ect. But I think she had to take care of him a lot and he wasnt the ideal partner at all and people only focus on her flaws and what she did when he did the same if not worse in my opinion (Like threating suicide a lot ect.) These people criticize MOH but like and watch soaked in bleach which is ironic since that was a fiction movie made to make money
@@kl0udykl0ud55 i disagree. Kurt has been used to romanticize and mythologize heroin. It shows the reality of heroin addiction which is not a cool adventure it’s sad and pathetic. Plus there’s a myth of Kurt and the reality of Kurt. I think the movie is great in demythologizing him.
I believe deep down Buzz means well. I also believe MOH is a bunch of bull. It was cool to see Kurt's artwork and hear the narration, but I think Courtney came out with that for retaliation for Soaked in Bleach.
Kurt's mother made me mad in Montage Of Heck. I did enjoy the movie for the animations and a lot of Kurt's audio recordings I hadn't heard before, but it felt a little all over the place and too flashy in some bits. Courtney will certainly piss you off in this for sure, but I was more prepared for Courtney than I was for Wendy. The interviews with Krist were nice 😊 it is still worth a watch, at least once.
Uh yeah I agree.. Wendy pissed me off too.. like when she’s talking about how she hears kurts album and cries from because she “knows he isn’t ready for this” like lady shut up you wouldn’t even take in your own son
It’s definitely interesting to see how both Kurt’s mom and dad tell totally different stories. And you can just tell that they barely even knew Kurt after he grew up, nor did they make much of an effort in his life.
Unfortunately Kurt and his family are living off his fame. It's just how it went. I don't know what Kurt would have done if was still alive. We don't know what his inner circle was like. We can only rely on a series of characters who all have different motives about Kurt, his life and how his fame and money is being milked every day.
We know that Kristen Pfaff, Hole's bassist and part of Kurt's inner circle, wasn't interested in his money. She was actually anxious to get away from Seattle, back to her hometown in Minneapolis to rejoin with her underground band Janitor Joe, because she was unhappy and couldn't fit into the Seattle crowd. In fact, she didn't care about money and fame so much that she cancelled her contract with Hole/Geffen after Kurt died so she wouldn't have to tour with them. A lot of people think that Kurt would have ended up with Kristen if he had lived because she was a genuine person who cared about music and would spend 4-5 hours a day talking on the phone with him about their common interests. I can't think of anyone more trustworthy around him at that time. She died two months after him, with all the same people involved as with Kurt, down to the doctor who did the autopsy.
I think Buzz takes hard stances for his disapproval of how Kurt is portrayed. But he doesn't hold back personal criticism of Kurt. That to me is a reliable narrative.
The stuff he is claiming is BS is stuff that came from Kurt's own mouth. Not once is the spoken word story presented as fact, even CL and Brett said they thought it was just a story. I don't get why people fixate on this one small animated part of the movie. Kurt even wrote it down in his journals. I don't think Buzz is lying, I just think he's looking at it the wrong way.
@@90sArchive He appears in _Montage of Heck,_ and he had planted the seed 15 years earlier that the story was real. Most people who watch the movie had probably already read the book.
Watched it and it felt very intrusive and as a long time Nirvana/Kurt fan, I felt like I was betraying Kurt by watching this... haven't been able to watch it since.
Buzz and Dale are great. If anybody has the right to share there feelings about Kurt (good or bad) it would be them. Great friends and went though alot together. I'm sure they hold alot of anger with Kurt when he got deep into dope. It had to be heart breaking to watch your good friend lose himself into hard drugs. Its a well known fact when kurt got deep into drugs he cut the people that didn't do them or judged him for doing them out of his life.
"people want him to be suuicidal. How about that? They actually wanted him to be suicidal!" And guess what? A conspiracy is 2 or more people who conspire by coming up with a plan for good or bad to be implimented toward one or many people. We didnt plan for any of this that happened!. But if we "conspiracy theorists" go by your definition, and your opinion that there is no other possible scenario but suicide, you could also be considered a 'conspiracy theorist' yourself. I believe that some of you just can't accept the fact that there is alot of evil, hatred, jealousy and greed out there in our world! Putting labels on people is stupid, simplistic and most often used incorrectly just to make a person's opinion seem more valid and reasonable when it is anything but. What is more reasonable is to open up your mind and stop labeling Kurt and others who do not agree with your opinion. Grow up please!
You misunderstood what Buzz says at the end of the interview at 4:01. He says: "I'm just SORRY that all those stories came about him first and not us." instead what you say at 6:53 (...that he is glad) - OMG please be careful when working with information. Didn't you hear the sarcasm? Also the fact that Buzz was paid for the review rather indicates that he wanted to do a meaningful job not the otherwise and wraped it like he did. Melvins just really defend their dead friend there. RIP Kurt Cobain
Karel Kočner Agree. Melvins and nirvana are on the same team. Fans and inspiration for each other. Speculative stuff about it is not something even possible. Everyone should know that they each influenced the other. Melvins are possibly more of an influence on nirvana than the other way around.
AmericanSpyFox. What really grabbed me in that interview with the Melvins is when he said ‘Whatever it was it was better than the truth’... that right there just grabs me, i mean what can actually be the truth... Was he murdered?.. Was he driven to kill himself because of Courtney Love... what? I honestly believe what he said, I think that’s why you never really hear from Krist Noviselic or Dave Grohl.. i think the real truth actually makes them really sick.
addiction isn't pretty or interesting honestly after a while. I think the whole thing became dark and chaotic and it must have been extremely bitter sweet too. It's a shame Kurt died. He was a huge influence on so many people.
i think the issue of a constantly misinterpreted Kurt Cobain and the issue of his actual death are two different fields. While about the interpretation side we all can have long and ideally constructive and fruitful exchange - the issue of his actual death is very short and physical: the official version of his death is false by evidence and proof. After all, the facts are in sum that it is scientifically impossible that he died by his own hand. And that changes also the interpretation of his as a mental health issued, weak person. // The problem is for once that the departments legally in charge, benefit from keeping the official version, and for twice that everybody who hears ''suicide'' first, it is hard to let lose of interpreting suicide into everything Kurt Cobain. // That is why it makes it such a controversial and ridiculously difficult case.
I think Kurt wasn’t a heroin addict. Articles right after his suicide quoting Courtney and Krist both state he wasn’t an addict and Krist said heroin was just a part of Kurt’s life. And in the Everett True bio Cali is quoted as saying Kurt was doing nearly as much heroin as people say he was. I think Kurt thought Courtney was cheating and she heavily manipulated him, and he realized his life was a sham.
I watched it as I can tune out Courtney's bullshit. I loved seeing Kurt, aged 2 sitting on a toy bike 1) waving to the camera 2) blowing a kiss to the camera 3) offering his biscuit to the cameraman. Told me what a sweet soul he was. I believe he was murdered 100%
You can't tune out Courtney's BS. She was very, very much part of it all. She couldn't be tune out when he needed her to be so we need to endure it as well. Something like that. Hope this is understood.
Too many things in the mix to believe it was suicide , look Kristen pfaff the police man that was killed, C L was a informer with S PD and many many more things that can’t be over looked,
@@jjb2323 you're entitled to your opinion. I think it was murder. The common phrase from about all of the justice system is: If you want to get away with murder, kill a junkie.
ASF some notes for you. 1. Have not seen MOH myself, basically for the same reasons as yours. 2. Cobain was extremely gifted in building his own myth. You can read about that in a lot of interviews, especially in the era up to In Utero. 3. Many peers from the Seattle scene testfied this myth making quality. 4. Do not take Azerad's book as a reflection of the truth. 5. Once you know Cobain's tactics, question everything he ever said publicly. Literally Everything. 6. I do believe in the sincerity of him as a performer.
yesss, all of this. especially on Azerads book- when it came out and i read it, it was holy bible- even in the (near) years rereading it. Now, 35 years later,,, not nearly so much.
we love that Buzz comes clear at the most central point: such as Montage Of Heck is another big bully-down-Kurt-Cobain campaign item, and > ''Kurt is not here anymore to defend himself'' ** < - (( so world seems to feel free and great ongoing - to keep bullying Cobain down by inventing one after the other new drama fiction on him, deleting the legacy and achievements of one of the most outstanding artist of our time)) !! That** comment by Buzz says all to us, and we love him for it.
It was obviously made for money, they make him look suicidal the whole documentary and showed off his art and his most popular songs too much, and you know that kurt hated smells like teen spirit because of how much fame it got?well guess what song they played at the end of the credits?it shows how they didn't care much about kurt. Badass video btw, i always wanted to see u talk about this topic, keep up your good work.
i think it was hard for buzz to have worked so hard at making it just to watch the kids who used to carry his gear sell millions of records. the melvins have written some amazing songs but you have to search them out, they never made it to the radio like nirvana and sound garden and alice in chains did. they wer all mentored by bands that never saw the success that the kids they mentored did. who knows maby he thought it was unfair and unjust to get glossed over and outshined by the kids who started out carrying in his gear?idk i was never a big melvins fan until i saw them live and they had two drummers and 2 bass players and it was amazing and ive ben a fan ever since! unlike nirvana witch i was a fan of as soon as i heard teen spirit at age 12 in 1992..almost 20 yrs later i discover the melvins..
there are so many remarkable details worth mentioning in the film Montage Of Heck and it's context, script and production, that it is hard to chose with which to start. // Watch the interviews in full lenght, which are on youtube and probably in the bonus titles of any copy of the film: the people interviewed all answer in a similar way, like they all have been asked the same questions, and been given the same inspirational suggestion on what to answer. For example: ''Tell us your memory of Kurt. And also try and remember one detail that pictures him as a fully normal human being.'' Now if you'd be interviewed and you hear such as this, it sounds alright and positive, i guess. We want to portrait this human as a human with faults and weaknesses, not as a god. Fully cool. Unfortunately not cool in this case, but shady and sneaky manipulative. The whole film tries to erase the outstanding, hard working, sane artist he was. And if you had been interviewed, and followed the inspirational, suggestive advice to remember something ''very human'' instead of something ''very god'' - you had done what happened here over the whole creation of the film: Kurt Cobain ends being pictured as a psycho. And this obviously fully conceptual, after the intention this film production was put on it's way - which was the aiming to ''talk about Kut Cobain'' , but actually to polish Courtney Love's legacy and state, to make sure world would believe she had a load to carry with this psycho - the poor hassled and caring wife - and thank her she was so caring, but she could ''not save him''. // ..Jesus Christ - anybody ever worked somewhere near the business of promotion, marketing and image psychology in big business - knows exactly what we are talking about here without even reading to the end. or otherwise: believe in Unicorns and the flat earth. // Courtney Love's most professional business was always to create an image of her's that she like the world to see - at any price. And here she uses Cobain estate money to do another big image creative, manipulative, professional move in the size of big business to the benefit of her major focus throughout her whole life. Successful. In this example, the product is Montage Of Heck. // Don't expect the film tells us anything about a human Kurt Cobain. And maybe quit believing in Unicorns, if you ever did. Even if they are beautiful to look at - in fiction books. When it comes to reality on planet earth, do yourself the favor and remain smart, and stay in reality. // P.S. If you'd want to know something about Kurt Cobain, you might want to leave the consumable, big money made, chocolate bar production, fiction character, family entertainment ''masterpiece'' Montage Of Heck to the side before you even start, and look at all other biographies and film documentaries with pre-caution too. Kurt Cobain was and is of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted artists of all time. Checking out material about him probably requires to view most of it, only to notice that they all create imagery in one or another way, and that they all have one or another scent of misinterpretation to them. Maybe use your own clear mind in an unstressed moment, and mind that this human has worked from a birthday gift of a musical instrument at teenage, for ten years in non-fame on about no-budget, through all odds including poverty to homelessness and an odyssey through rootlessness in terms of personal backgrounds, to create communicative art after a determined vision, with outstanding self-discipline and remarkable humane balance that everybody along the way remembers him for - to finally change our cultural landscapes. Next, go through some mathematics, statistics in numbers, such as the uncounted stage performances in the comparatively short time of only just over 2 years in fame, and maybe conclude that all this together is not achieved by just anybody, and surely not by mental health issues dominated character - as which over-challenged world loves to hold him pictured as - because it is so much easier and self-fulfilling to look down on such person than maybe to admit that at times we might as well need to look up.
my shortest comment on Montage Of Heck is: the teams working for Courtney Love advised to steer against the expectable Documentation Soaked In Bleach. ''We need to do some work now: let's create a film that will corner Soaked In Bleach, will be accepted and adopted by the mainstream audience and media alike, and will picture Kurt Cobain in the way it let's look Courtney Love as good as it only can. The result of this concept is Montage Of Heck. It does not tell about Kurt Cobain. It tells about what you just read.
I liked the content in montage of heck, the home videos, demos and other things we’ve never seen before but a lot of the story is wrong as Courtney was involved, About a son is probably the closet we will get to a true biography story I think, as it’s recorded calls of Kurt telling his life, not Courtney.
Also this film (Montage Of Heck) is made, when C. Love and people around her came aware, that T. Grant might release his investigation diary in the form of a film publication. Montage Of Heck got released nearly in the same moment, with big money and promotion, in order to corner off a publication by T. Grant.
@@micnik3573 ' Courtney Love has not control' sure, that is what you have to say when you do a job in favor of Courtney Love. Hello hello. We're on planet earth. It's 2020.
What animosity ,man ? Buzz was (perhaps ) the last person Kurt shared a serious conversation with about his personal life (circa his last shows: Munich - Germany ) when they had Melvins as the opening band . Buzz told him to " run" literally , to "leave her everything and run , play a few solo shows " ( This is a direct Buzz quote from that conversation in Munich btw - google it if necessary ) . Buzz was very aware of the dangerous predicament his friend was in. Buzz is withholding a LOT of personal information concerning Kurt ,to this day , if anything .
I liked montage of heck if you can withstand it’s artistic style it’s really good. I didn’t take what the film says literally. In fact I don’t think it said much that hasn’t been said already, it’s just interesting found footage and animation. Ps the stuff in Kurt and Courtney’s flat is super weird. Especially considering Courtney’s ex. boyfriend filmed their sexy tape which the film shows the start of. Besides that it’s a good watch for nirvana fans but I wish they hadn’t cut Dave from the film.
Take montage of heck with a grain of salt. Basically it was Courtney's way of selling the suicide as opposed to the fact that Kurt Cobain live The Rock and roll lifestyle by destroying everything and having a blast while doing it!
What a stupid thing to say. Courtney didn’t even get to see the movie until it was finished. Plus every friend and family member says it was a suicide. Only people that didn’t know Kurt think it’s a murder
@@tylurmackinnon6217 False, in fact ALL of Kurt's closest friends (including his band) were really surprised at first when they found out it was a suicide. They never saw Kurt extremely depressed or suicidal. Also, his best friend Dylan Carlson (one of the last people that saw Kurt alive) told that before his death Kurt was totally fine and he even seemed happy.
Talk to dylan to make a movie. He knew him the most. I really think Cali and Jessica are the ones who helped carry out his murder. Courtney convinced them that miners won't do bad prison time if caught...
I really would like to see the case reopened but likely never will be. Fortunately, through mediums like this channel, we are getting closer to the truth. This channel makes it easier to form comprehensive and informed opinions and especially to those who are “on the fence”.

Okay, I may get hate for this but oh well. I personally liked Montage of Heck. Didn’t exactly like Courtney at the end of the documentary because you can tell she’s lying and stretching the truth, BUT I also liked how it showed Kurt’s other side that a lot people didn’t know. In my personal opinion, I think that we all glorify our idols and forget that they’re people too.
Lauren Padilla I agree, it didn’t totally “defame” him. At least to me, it opened my eyes to another perspective of Kurt that isn’t the “depressed” image the media makes him to be. Of course, still taking that same documentary with a grain of salt just like all documentaries/biopics about celebrities without the celebrity being their to direct it.
There’s a lot of cover up behind Kurt’s death someone was present when it happened he definitely was silenced and it’s sad over bs but things I believe will surface and there’s going to be a lot of answering to do !
I saw it when it premiered on HBO. I haaaaaaated it. Not only was all the illustration and art direction cheesy/irritating, but it definitely cast Kurt in a horrible light. I never could understand why Frances would throw her father under the bus like that. Years later I finally understood. Have you read Hank Harrison’s book, Love Kills? Of all the books I’ve read that one has the most in depth and revealing material. I mean he’s Courtney’s father for Pete’s sake. He does not hold back, and delves deep into understanding why Courtney is the way she is. Presents a different perspective on what went down. It’s so so so good. I think you can still get it on amazon. Please read it!!
The weirdest statement in Montage of Heck that didn't fit the story was Courtney saying that Kurt took a lot of pills because he loved her so much and she was just thinking of cheating on him, didn't even tell him... It's a narcissistic statement and it just doesn't sound true. I am sure the reason was something else.
not gonna lie, the only good thing out of montage of heck was the soundtrack. the movie on its own sucked. Kurt and Courtney was better. I think the movie was just crap and I've seen it before.
@@auroraborealis6398 yes, that's true. I guess I was over hyping the movie a little. But, for the subject matter, it doesn't put CL in a good position. At least as a human being.
yes we think Buzz even loves to be the full-on awkward weirdo, that's his balance weight to keep him some feel-ok, living in this ill world we live in, Fat Mike of Nofx has a similar drive keeping the world in a distance to himself by just being awkward as a guaranteed standard
Krist Novoselich is so skint - he even pronounces his name Novoselic, to please non Slavic speaking people..He's in on the game. He knows exactly what happened to Kurt, but he's choosing to go with the narrative, because it brings more money. I guess Courtney's minge is very exceptional..
I don’t think the negative things buzz has said about Kurt are as serious as you think. They were boys from their teens. Buzz also knows very well that the melvins aren’t a commercially viable band. They’ve had enormous success and have a very big fan base. 1000% buzz said the same things to Kurt when he was alive. Great friends can bust each other’s chops.
It's worth watching, make the judgement yourself and at least then you can say you've seen it and liked it or didn't like it or didn't see was the fuss was about etc 👍👍
Nothing in Montage of Heck any Nirvana fan hasn't heard a million times. And yes it is 90% bullshit just like anything about Kurt it is more about portraying an image than who he actually was. I don't know any of these people but I personally get the impression that Buzz and Dale are more upset with how the whole machine gobbled Kurt up and he ended up being a strung-out commodity and a lot of what is perceived as dissing Kurt is really more criticism of the storm he got caught up in where he was surrounded by leeches who were more concerned with the money he could make them than his own well-being and eventually cost him his life. I do believe Buzz is extremely sincere when he says he's glad that The Melvins didn't explode into the biggest band in the world and weren't thrust into such a position.
Montoge of heck is how Courtney wants people to see Kurt. I didn't like. It she degrading him in it kurt loved her but she didn't love him. A narcissistic can't love
we think Buzz hates that Kurt had connected to heroin - we think Buzz wishes Kurt had not left this world dead untimely, but had WON against all odds and against the pricks of the industry and mainstream too
Watch buzz Osbourne tries to buy a house with street cred. Hilarious. Buzz took kurt to see black flag which changed Kurt's life. I would never say buzz is jealous. I think the anger is at seeing someone he cared about be exploited. I forget the name of the video where buzz says he told kurt to give the nirvana rights to courtney and hide out in Europe. Montage of heck is good. Worth the watch
Just FYI, in Montage of Heck, the infamous "retard fucker" story was narrated by cobain himself. It was obviously a recording of a story he wrote. My first impression was that it was fictional and meant to be edgy. He sounds young in the recording. Despite anything else, you should still take a look at "Montage". I especially enjoyed seeing the old home videos and recordings of kurt as a little kid, and seeing all his drawings going all the way back to age 7. Once courtney enters the story it does become a lot harder to watch, I'll say that. I think it was well done all in all though.
I watched an Interview with the Director and Courtney as well as Frances. According to the Director, Courtney kept everything of Kurt's locked away in a "vault". The Director stated Courtney gave him the key and didn't try to take over the narrative. In the interview Courtney also stated some of the stories in Montage of Heck were indeed darker fiction Kurt would write in journals he kept. Courtney also stated the story about Kurt sleeping with the girl who was constantly made fun of was also fiction.
Its worth a watch but its a lot of bullshit. Some of the narration is Kurt but some of it is not. They got a voice actor that kinda sounds like Kurt but you can tell its not him in most cases.
- and poor pushed around Frances Bean walks up to comment on camera: '' Yes i belive this film shows my father more like the real human being he was''. A-spyFox is fully correct pointing this out, because this statement by Frances Bean is a statement of an adult person who reviews another person. We know for fact that Frances Bean was only 2 years old, when her fathers life ended, and that she never has seen her father with adult eyes that could conclude what Kurt Cobain is as a private human in difference to for example his public image. Such rational and conclusive viewing of others is impossible by a person at age 2. Means: other people or/and Courtney Love have sent her to the microphone in public on camera, to make this statement, to back up the film. In other words: here we got another typical C. Love manipulative move, that does not scare away from lying, manipulating and - on the person Frances Bean - from exploiting others to do their part in hr game of lies. // ( Frances' statement on camera is on youtube. We wonder how many people have stumbled over it, and noticed the full-on manipulation that stands behind it.)

I never really figured out, how Frances as a single kid with split parents lives with this. Does she care if it's right or wrong what CL does or says? Does Frances not care so much, because she first of all just wants a parent? I hope for Frances that she can get aay from too much influence and just be herself. // K. Cobain's effective value as a very positive influence for anybody in the world, could be a lot bigger, if mainstream and people like CL would not have big reasosn to let him stand as the mental cripple 'depressed loser' type. I cussed her up one side and down the other, still do, but that doesn't mean I didn't care about her as a friend. I suspect Buzz isn't really that pissed at Curt, but may be pissed at everything surrounding it all. He's probably just as in the dark about some things as anyone else. Maybe even feels a little guilt in some strange way. Conjecture on my part, but like I said, everyone handles situations like this differently. I don't think Buzz is lying, just handling it his way.
It’ll make you mad. The “documentary” is just a Courtney-approved version of reality. Wendy’s interviews are bogus, I can’t believe his own mother doesn’t tell the truth. The Kurt recording could be true, but I could easily see it being a made-up story that Kurt recorded. I think Buzz defends Kurt against all the BS that’s out there about him, but that doesn’t mean that Buzz doesn’t have his personal criticisms about his friend Kurt.
Must admit hearing his mother it is so painfully obvious that there was not much of a relationship there. She totally doesn't know him and just relied on Courtney Love's, info on him just to make that interview. To me it's just sad beyond words
Jacky Young it makes me disgusted. That’s her son. Her child. Like WTF. No one is standing up for him at all. He can’t rely on his own mother. It’s sad, but gross.
Are you saying you were friends with Kurt and were there? Because clearly you know him better than his wife... based on what? Conjecture? Conspiracy theories!
Hey man I was curious about thing I read maybe a week ago in Everett True's book "Nirvana: True Story" in which he wrote that Nick Broomfield was too naive and Eldon Hoke make fun of him than Broomfield asked Duce about Courtney's involvement in Kurt's death. However we all know that guy passed a lie detector. Why the Legend say that? P. S. Fun thing he's the guy introduced Kurt to Courtney I believe.
I think that Everret True book is the best Nirvana biography that I've read yet. I read "Heavier than Heaven," also, and the Michael Azerrad book, I also read the Journals, I have the "Cobain Unseen" book and had the Montage of Heck book (which is mostly quotes and pictures of art). I've read other ones, too, but these stick out the most. The Everret True bio was the most impressive book on Nirvana that I have yet to find.
- and a mother who says ''You are not prepared for this'' is a mother who is nerved she even has kids at all. A real Mother - always!! - says: YOU CAN DO THIS. (!!!).
For a woman who is always out of it, it’s surprising no one has gotten her to confess. The practice handwriting sheet alone should get at least a civil trial.
yeah honestly surprised too, i for sure think Courtney had something to do with his death. she may not have pulled the trigger, but why would she be practicing his handwriting?
How can you say he left Buzz and the Melvins in the dust? Do your research, he helped them get a major record deal (3 albums) and brought them out on tour multiple times. For someone claiming to know so much, you sure don’t know many details...
The narrated animated part is really neat. He is extremely open and forward in these scenes. I enjoyed seeing that side of him and as you said, his type of humor!! 🙂 however, I also agree that this could just be a story he was writing or a project....we'll never know as long as CL is involved.😥
I can’t isolate because my work won’t let me, however I have posted a LOT of Nirvana covers. Check them out if you’re interested. I try really hard to faithfully cover Kurt’s music. 😎👍
@@mireilleblacke6567 even so. He chose to leave a treatment center and isolate at home without telling anyone. As far as what exactly happened in the room above the garage I cannot say..as in if there was anyone else with him in the room that helped him die. If not, he made the choice to abandon his family and friends. He chose not to receive medical attention. That's where I draw the line to his responsibility
People who work in favor of Courtney Love stand behind this film Montage Of Heck being made. The film is made extremely compelling, consumable, entertaining, and ''heartbreaking''. People who do not know more facts, are most likely to > love < this film. The film is made to help C. Love to a better reputation, to make the world believe that K. Cobain was a problem child that was weak, stricken to the core by his problems and due to end with a suicide.
@@90sArchive we've considered this from 94, and from mid 2010s when the film was released. We also considered we'd be safe and the planet would not be overpolluted. A.O. We started using our abilities to consider, research, look further and make sense. The official version of Cobain's death is false by evidence and proof. Montage of Heck is set up after intentions of the team working for C. Love. It portraits a character of which C. Love wishes, the world understands this as Cobain.
@@southwestbleach I dont know why you're babbling on about pollution. Maybe you were too dumb to realise it but plenty of us knew the dangers of pollution long ago. "False by evidence" 😂😂 GTF outta here with that crap. There is no evidence for murder, never has been and never will.
Hey paulwildstar do you believe everything your told ? go watch the private detective who gives his own opinion about this he thinks she did it ? and with some help !
I very much enjoy montage of heck, specifically the first half. During the Courtney parts you have to slightly question everything she says. The home footage also feels pretty bad to watch.
Haven’t seen Montage of Heck and have only heard, for the most part, unhappy reviews... but I’m gonna say something about Buzz in particular and what I really think is going on w/ him w/ regards to Kurt/Nirvana: I think that he just didn’t get it - how Nirvana blew up like they did - I’m fairly sure that he thinks the band was okay, but don’t know that he’s a huge fan of the music - but he loves Kurt & Krist and it would be a rainy day in Yuma, Arizona but if you caught him on that day, I believe that he would bawl his face off that Curt is dead...
Buzz wasnt jealous of Kurt. The "Kill Rock Stars Records" scene they were all a part of abhorred mainstream. If Buzz or Dale Crover really cared they could have been in Nirvana. Buzz and Kurt went to highschool together, Buzz got him into underground music. Kurt got them a major record deal from Atlantic Records. I am sure if he wanted Buzz would have been hired instead of Pat Smear. The Melvins have a near 40 years career, and had the opportunity to sell out. The Melvins and Los Crudos opened their final show in Munich. He might sound jealous, but you never hear anyone talk about dead icons in any other sense than glazing then. Buzz is pissed, he believes fame took his best friend and would rather Kurt Cobain be alive than some junkie who committed suicide.
It was frances' film it has nothing to do with publicity rights, she could have easily signed off on rights and allowed Courtney to make the film if that was the case, you just once again illustrate how your knowledge of the scenario is concocted in your obsessed brain.
I was there, I saw Nirvana live in all their stages, as a child, but yes you called them jealous, and I don't believe Buzz was sober and that he didn't try to OD him, for his self promotion. Like I said, I was there, and so was my dad. We saw Paul McCartney for $250, but we saw Nirvana for $14, for the last time at UNO Lakefront, the happiest day of my life, until the birth of my son, in 96. I love conspiracies, but at the same time, I'd rather believe Kurt had enough, and took control. I love you spyfox, but I bought all the magazines. I heard Kurt say he was going to kill himself. I remember, before cell phones, I walked off the school bus, to dozens of messages from friends, but especially my girlfriend who was crying for me, just after the Rome OD, April 8th, Kurt Loder in tears, while I said "We all saw it coming, just a matter of when". I love conspiracy theories, I've lived with this for 25 years, but In the end, I just want to believe that all these jealous nobodies, hurt him, and took matters into his own hands, love you Spyfox but we all saw it coming..
Amen. I think Montage of Heck was true and full of facts. Kurt absolutely killed himself, it's in his lyrics, it's in his journals. People that didn't grow up at that time may not realize that. These "new fans" grew up in the internet age and they've always heard the conspiracy theories about Kurt being killed. I don't believe one word of it. And love or hate his wife, Courtney was his wife, she is the mother of his child, and they were deeply in love, you can tell when you watch the movie. I'm like you. I grew up watching Kurt on MTV, Alice in Chains, and all these other mega-depressed bands. Their music was basically a soundtrack to a slow death, and I loved it anyway. Nothing wrong with that. But, yes...it is absolutely clear what happened to Kurt, and the last people to see him (Duff Mckagan included) have always said that Kurt was at the end of his rope.
“Montage Of Heck” is a worth a watch, but I’d never buy. The animation is excellent and it’s interesting to see the parts where Kurt’s words are being contradicted be the animation. Plus, it’s really easy to see the segments where Kurt’s Mom and Courtney are lying, which is most of the time.
Buzz is not crazy.. Being envious for a bit is different from not being of sound mind. He speaks the truth and that's why he is not inside the world of the few lead singers alive today from 90's grunge.
