Kurt Metzger reminds me of a damaged genius. A brilliant comedian. That talent should be much further ahead but there's something unhinged about him holding him back. I think that childhood really screwed him up but then he wouldn't have been who he is as a comedian.

There are those who disassociate themselves but dont abandon it, and then those who never get babtized, who are not shunned. People always forget that they completely agree to these terms before babtism, even the conditions about disfellowshipping. I used to study with JWs and attend their church, but stopped. Im still friends with many of them. If theyre a cult then so is every other religion. Theyre healthy and productive members of society. I did meet some antisocial types, like in any religion, but they tend to have mental problems and sometimes even get disfellowshipped.
