I can't thank you enough for posting this concert in it entirety. The sound quality is high enough that it is quite enjoyable to listen to over my Goigle Home speaker. This coupled with the fact that you captured the entire concert from song one to the final encore makes me feel like I'm there in Dallas with you enjoying the heck out of Kurt Vile and his Violators! Many thanks again!
Great concert video! Kurt Vile is slowly becoming one of my favorite artists. Yeah I know, it only took nine albums to say that, but still! His last two albums have included some of my favorite songs of all time. I actually just made a video on my channel sharing some of my favorite songs of his. Sound off in the comments section! Would love to hear your thoughts.
Punks in Beerlight sounds very much derived from Neil Young's Hey Hey My My despite the bits and bobs added. Infact it's several songs stuck together. Your own songs are way more original than that.
Haha i'm that dude right in front of kurt. I had two guy's on my left who screamed in my ears the whole damn time. Really ruined my experience, i was annoyed the whole concert.
@@JeffroJames I'm fine with the occasional woo. This dude was wooing in the quiet parts and the loud parts. Drunkenly improvising bass lines at a level that everyone around me was visibly annoyed. I took footage of a ton of this show and in all of it i don't have a minute of him not making obnoxious noise.
I really love Kurt Vile but somehow I feel that his live band is not on top of his game. I have seen both Kurt and the War on Drugs live and the WOD sound is miles ahead of kurt.... maybe it is the mixing guy or the lineup of songs...
I've heard they're really inconsistent live. Saw the second night at Webster Hall last week and it was one of the best sounding and performed shows I've ever seen.
