I believe that is because they are a fixed design (like the Superbrace) but these are not fixed. They adjust to the fork. That's why you tighten the outside screws first and then the inside screws.
In my case no. I eventually put new front and rear tires on which helped but still did not eliminate the wobble. Next step will be to check the steering head bearing. I took the brace off.
Craig Lenhard - rvrguyd what year is your wing? I’m getting ready to change my stem bearings as we speak. I’ve got no wobble going on, it I’m changing out the bearings anyway. Actually rebuilding my front end with wheel bearings and New shocks. I may go ahead and put a brace on anyway to see what it’s like after the rebuild. Thanks
