Having heard the quality of this machine and the latest version, I am getting one as soon as money permits. Just great.

Very well done demo. Like you always do. After many years, high class instruments still always let you catch a glimps of how well they were designed. I´d take this one on stage with me any time, it sounds very good in band and high volume situations.

VAST was one of the most unique synthesis engines, on top of the Kurtzweil being known for having one of, if not the best piano sound in all of keyboards (something like 16 layers of velocity per region, and a whole lot of tiny regions)

As always UJIIE, your playing is great, but I wish you would demo the Kurzweil PC3K8 & Roland Fantom G8, as well as you did the Korg Kronos & Yamaha Motif XF, those last 2 were outstanding! I'd also be interested in your impression of the 88 key beds of each. I am buying a new workstation to replace my old (very old) 76-key XP-80, and the decision seems to be getting harder, rather than easier!!! Hahaha... (I'll still hang onto my Rolands though, too.) Thanks for your great work man, keep it coming to us old subscribers! Going to your Facebook page to like that, also. ;) Forgot to mention the Krome & MOXF jobs, those are dynamite, as well! :D

A machine !!!!

After all, kurzweil has a great piano tone! Recently, a kurzweil pc4 model has been released, but it is a backward compatible model of kurzweil forte. If you have a chance, please review the kurzweil pc4 a model. Especially, 6op of FM sound source is supported, so the tone is completely similar to yamaha dx7. And various tunings for the organ have been improved and powerful!

I love my Korg Kronos x73...... But.....Kurzweil-sounds are very fine:-) :-) :-)

Awesome demo and playing as usual. The PC2X is my main MIDI controller keyboard, but I never used its internal sounds on any recordings--it's just a controller keyboard to me.

「シンセの基礎」みたいな本の幾つかでは、KURZWEILが紹介されてますよね。一貫してサンプルプレイバック(サンプラー機能含む)でありながら、モジュレーションやエフェクトの豊富さ(V.A.S.T.ですね)はモジュラーシンセばりであると。結構なお値段であるにも関わらず日本でも愛好者が少なからずいるのはこの部分なのでしょうか。
