Hey Chris, just had to drop you a note here and say I've been watching your demos for a long long time. I've always enjoyed them, but also want to say your playing has improved significantly over time and you look a lot healthier too - I'm so happy for you! Be blessed Chris and thank you for your work as we seek our 'perfect' board. ;-) best, Robert
I know im randomly asking but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Rudy Braylen thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Have you ever tried the Korg Krome 88 im about to pull the trigger but can`t decide on Krome 88 ,Kurzweill SP7,Roland DS88 , Yamaha MX88,Kross 2 88.So the budget is around 1000-1300 but the Krome is on the higher end like 1500 but its a little more superior in capabilities i think and has a touch screen.
Has anyone noticed that with the 'smear' effect on the kb3 organs on Kurz you always tend to hear the individual notes rather than the percussive effect we're after. Still, at this price point it's a great bonus to have it
Hi Rusty - yes, it is possible to split and layer simultaneously with some limitations. Basically in Multi-Mode you can create up to four zones, each with their own voice, and they can overlap as well. Feel free to reach out with any other questions. Thanks! Can you use the layer to combine two sounds like Piano+ Pad , bit control the volume of Pad, like put the volume *only* of the Pad lower, to make the Piano sound stands out even more?
Hi, Pedro! Thanks for your interest. Yes, when you create a layered patch on the SP6, you can individually set the volume of each layer. For more details, check out the "Musician's Guide" manual for this instrument here: kurzweil.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/SP6-Musicians-Guide-Rev-F.pdf Feel free to reach out to me directly with further questions! Thanks for your interest! The SP6 does not have audio over USB. Computer connectivity with this piano is meant for software updates, MIDI control, and editing settings and patches. The analog outputs would need to be used with an external audio interface for recording. Hopefully this helps! Hello! No, the SP6 does not have built in speakers, you'd need to hook it to a PA system or keyboard amp. If you'd like to go into more detail, feel free to call me. Nick LaMendola, Senior Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1660, nick_lamendola@sweetwater.com
Different machines ... sp6 has its sounds and thats all... you have to use few sound per song because you have 5 favorites. Forte is a synt and a workstation and a sampler, so you can play any kind of weird sound ... or if you need, you can load exatly the same sound of the band you are covering. You can edit everything in every mode. not worse or better ... just different.
marco moraschi I found a great deal on a Forte 7. This keyboard is a beast. And the KB3 is decent. One you dial in the Leslie, it's not bad; very usable. Pianos and Rhodes are awesome! Just need to learn the programming a bit better. Wish someone could help me with that.
Hey, Amir. Fantastic question! It most certainly has a wide array of great sounds - from detailed acoustic pianos, to a variety of synth leads, and everything in between. Thanks! Matt McGowen, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1702, matt_mcgowen@sweetwater.com
Yesterday i was trying the sp6 playing with my band. Swing, jazz songs etc. The piano sounds was so flat and thin that it was almost non existant. The band described the sp6 sound as "empty" and i agree. Sorry to say that sp6 is a mediocre or bad piece of gear. Dead and unresponsive pianos like 9ft grand. Bad sounding pianos like 7ft grand (really bad!). Fortunately there are two nice pianos from the k2600 samples. Thats all.
That's the signature Kurzweil sound. They all sound thin and useless, going all the way back to their first digital piano. Add to that a lousy feeling keyboard action and you're left wondering why this brand is so highly regarded. I blame the hype machine of advertising and big money backing Kurzweil.
