Kuttanadan Punjayile is a popular Malayalam rowing song from the 1967 film Kavalam Chundan. Lyricist Vayalar Ramavarma has invoked the legend and myths of central Kerala with references to the mythical arayanna (swan), garudan thookam, the broken Buddha statue of Karumadikuttan, the St Mary's basilica at Champakulam and the Krishna temple at Ambalapuzha.
