When I was a kid, my dad used to keep this album. I always used to run away and say yuk. My apologies for my ignorance and lack of taste (lack of range i think). When I grew up, didnt hear this for years. Now!...it is now that i actually sat and heard the whole album. I felt a group of muslims from the 60s were performing this, singing this with all the males sitting disciplined, with their fresh clothes. The feeling i get now is... To stand up and say a (very) respectful Namaskaram in front of that special group. So proud to have such communities in this great big country. I feel so...entha parayya...small in front of them muslims. So proud. What rich songs what meaning what sweetness. I feel almost shy to face them. I did feel many hindu songs, christian songs were great. Now is the time I felt that great feeling with such muslim songs too. Now im on a listening spree of muslim context songs (loved razoole, allahvin thirusabayil, ayiram kaatham, allahvin kaarunyam ilaathe etc...what depth! what a tune). Total respects to anyone from that era if they still exist....and twice that much respect to those respectable ladies. My namaste to all those muslims....love and respects!
