While I don’t think it’s fair for ppl comparing Kuz with Bure mostly for the sake of their heritage as opposed to their actual play style.. I do have to say the way he’s integrated himself into this team and this city, carrying that big bright smile, is already leagues ahead of Bures relationship with the same ppl during his time. Where these relationships with foreign players can often be tricky, Kuz has endeared himself enough that he’s been made welcome to play here for as long as he wants.

​@@dmwd96 , вчера прочитала комментарии о том что тренер сейчас ограничивает Андрею время выхода на лед. А, так бы он уже забил 40. И, еще, обратите внимание: когда Кузьменко забил 39- й гол, он был серьезен. ( Не было той его светлой улыбки, как обычно).

@@user-le7gp1uw1f Yes but also realize as a rookie coming from overseas there was no guarantee on how well he’d preform, and any ice time he had given was earned. What needs to be appreciated is that there was a lot of turbulence throughout the Canucks season, and Kuz was one of the few bright spots. Withholding ice time at this point when the Canucks are out of the race is nothing more than trying to get some prospects playing time, as we look forward to the future. Individual stats should come second behind the success of the team, and Kuz appears to agree in those regards.

@@shreksswamp1182 well, it's gotta be tough for him as a 'veteran' trying to share his wisdom and experience with Kuzy, who is already putting up high-end numbers in his first year. The guy obviously has a ton to learn about playing in the show, but at the same time... he's doing pretty darn good as it is.
