I love that moments when skill say something like "learn to aim" and miss the shot.

"If you get the right MM" is such a copout "advantage" for a tier 8 tank these days. Tier 6 downtiers barely ever happen anymore. I played around 80 Vk100P games trying to do HT12 and i got tier 6 MM a total of 3 times i counted.

You can turn your turret very slightly like a Maus/E100 and bounce more shots that way too

One of my best, nailbiting games happened in this tank, so will forever be one of my favs. It was also in Fisherman's Bay. I did over 4k in damage, blocked over 5k and got my second Kolobanov's. Thankfully the last 2 meds came at me one at a time as I had around 100hp left, and that allowed me to let me finish off arty for the win.

KV-4 is one of my fav tanks all time. I used to be bad (but in learning mode) and i love this vehicle. Gun + amazing sidescrap it is perfect combination. I believe that tank deserves to be epic category without doubt. Like u said. It is extremly underrated..

Ever since its turret armor got buffed a year or two ago KV-4 has been a bit of a hidden gem imho. Your gun's not exactly Russian--you can hit shots without having to appease Stalin (or, for the 112, Mao). Stalin allows this because instead you have to appease him to get your armor to do its job. It's a two-way troll street: I've been penned (while angling, or at least trying to) by IS-6s and 112s (admittedly, their normal AP got buffed to 196 at some point), but blocked Deathstar AP, Jadpanzer E100 AP (and even HEAT, once or twice). Hell, it'll always hold a special place in my heart, besides it being my first tier 8 and currently the only tank I've 3-marked, because when I first bought it, in like 2017 or 2018, basically 100% stock (stock turret and one of the 122mm guns) within the first, oh, 5 games, get tier 10 on live Oaks, and IDK _how,_ but I found myself doing damage to the Deathstart and Obj 704, while also bouncing their AP. I've also wanted to make a sort of unicum guide for it, but I lack both any skill/experience in video editing, nor am I funny, and my win rate both in it and overall is 50%, so I'm not really qualified imho. Oh, and it's REALLY good at trolling BZ-176 players. I've yet to be caught with my pants down where it penned me with its AP, and the most damage HE has ever done was, like, 200.

KV-4 for me is one of the best tanks that i 3 marked. APCR are enough to f with tier X.

First high tier tank I ever 3 marked without even trying to. Didn't even know what it mean back then and this was before I even knew about gun rammer and improved vents

It's an amazing tank, I love it with all my heart, I always called "Queen KV-4" because of the coupola, remember me a crown 😂 I miss ST-1 video, the next in tech tree. I'm kinda struggling to make it work 🙃

KV-4 was my first tier 8 heavy. I got it way back in 2014 or so. The armor was much better back in the days when premium ammo could only be bought with gold. The gun was absolutely horrible though. It had trash dpm and the aim time was so bad lol I used to love face hugging T32's because they had such bad pen they couldn't go through my front reliably. I remember one time in a tier 10 game I blocked over 14k damage lmao

kv-2 with 107mm back at the days was 10/10

Only big down side of the KV-4 is the turret on the turret.

I was SHOCKED beyond belief when i managed to fully upgrade KV4, it was MUCH better than i ever expected, its one of my highest scoring tanks when it comes to xp just because it was consistently good 👌

kv-4's bounce mechanics are so simple you put the Corner of your turret or hull towards the gun aiming at you bounce nearly 80% of the time. the other 20% are smart ducks

Kv-4 is a great tank for when you just don't give a damn and want te get stuck right in, lot's of players will chocke and bounce a lot of shots if you play realy aggressive and overangele a lot. Also great for trolling bz-176 palyers.

One of my favorite tanks, I think it's underrated because everyone was all about the IS3 when I played it.

So I just got this tank today for 10,000 bonds and first game was on Abbey. OMG this tank is nasty!!! It is the epitome of a brawler. Gun is boom boom punch you in the face, armor is yeah hit me awesome and ramming damage is get out of my way mean. This is in my top 10 favorite Tier VIII tanks.

KV-4 was my highest WN8 tier 8 tank ever, and my fastest third mark. The side armor is amazing to over side scrape and bait shots, and the gun is awesome, even with standard.

When you’re playing the kv4 you should angle the armor of the turret just like on the maus. Helps bounce many more shots

I remember taking screen shot when after finishing my 3rd mark on this tank I was at the first place in wot tank ratings on eu server... This tank was a blast. Sidscrape god.

i feel like the kv-4 was one of the worst stock grind experiences i had with the guns because i could not hit anything but then after i got it fully maxed out it felt like a totally different tank

When I was grinding this tank a took so many gold rounds from my enemies I Almost changed my nickname to Fort Knox 😂😂

I did my block dmg for 279 E with KV-4. It happened to have an enemy IS who was with the small pp and was just shooting at me- like 20 times and he couldn’t penetrate me. He was 1 shot and I let him have his time. Easy

1st game..Yea. You took a lot of dmg. When 3 of them went trololol on you. And they all died. IF you have had just one teammate as backup for the crucial seconds that push took then it would have been a diff game. You would have taken 2 less hits, at least.. 2nd game WOWSERS for an aimbot on that elc

The KV4 is like if the IS3 was noob friendly, fight me. The thing has rather idiot proof armor, a great gun, and now if you attach a turbo on it isn't even that slow

At tier VIII I'm playing premium tanks almost exclusively.

KV-4 is one of the best T8 heavies, it offers reliable armour, workable gun and mobility, especially when compared to its competitors: Many are not heavy enough (is-3, tnh, caer, ...) Some are too heavy to be interesting (vk, o-ho) Some are just terrible versions of top tiers (emil, M-III, AMX,...) Many are either terrible premiums or op premiums, both boring Kv-4 somehow sits right in the middle (barely below too heavy), and offers you more or less what the t10 will, which makes it a fun tank to grind or play

how this gun at 460 meters is more accurate than the 128mm gun on the borsig? I can't hit shit even i have 90% of the enemy tank in my aim circle, and if i do hit, the short will dive down to the track to do zero damage or the shell will be pulled like a magnet to the gun mantle of a medium tank and bounce. idk, if you are not top tier, this thing is 100% useless. all it takes is some higher tier tanks to hit your machine gun turret at the top or they can just go right through the frontal armor of this thing easy.
