what is the 722.6? this motor is the amg55 motor correct? do you have any info on who did the motor/trans swap. i was watching it and didnt realize until the hood was opened that it had a late model drivetrain. where any of the axles brakes upgraded as well?
@@1n2333 I see you guys built one badass mother tell everybody that I see that does pre-merger cars someone needs to start a company doing restomods either true to the pre-merger cars or do 80s Mercedes with full late-model drivetrains like a singer Porsche I know there's a market for it. Who wouldn't want a w124 wagon with a twin-turbo or a w123 with that big nasty blown 6.2
Yes, S55 AMG motor and the 722.6 is the transmission that came with it. I did the engine and trans swap in my shop in Nashville. The axle was upgraded with an LSD and brakes were upgraded as well.
