@@nadronnocojr first of all, its a 90s mercedes with no TC, road tires, and its RWD. second of all, its 87 mph, not 60. please learn the metric system before responding. This takes real skill to do, and a lot of seat time. this aint no commute to work my guy
I was about to type a similar comment. Seriously, what the F is wrong with them, why do they so stubbornly refuse to take notes? I mean, can you imagine what a masterpiece they would be if movies like F&F were written and co-directed by petrolheads like this dude?!
@@z-trip5457 also Ken did his stunts with cars at least 3 times as powerful as this car. if you knew about cars and drifting you'd know this is actually wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy fucking easier than drifting 1000 horsepower with AWD around LA for that long without dumping it into a pole or wall.
This takes me to my some very good times where my friends did not believe that 122hp (or whatever was left from them) can make the car dance like that! I miss my C180
Common misconception is always that HP = how dynamic car is. If it got manual transmission, you can make anything fly, just avoid eco shifting and go for power shifting. The only real limits is how good transmission is and how much max speed said baby can pump.
I just picked my c220 from the mechanic today. The lady was telling me she was surprised to see a car from 2000 with 92000km only for the mechanic to make her notice that it was 920000 She said she never saw a car with those many km before (This is like a family car that we just decided to keep.. Of course we’re now on the 3rd engine, 3th gearbox, etc… but we just love it)
Airbag? What airbag has to do with driving? Also with welded diff Is easier to do that, have you ever tried thrashing a car on dirt roads? Also that Mercedes Is rwd and a very safe car in case of frontal impact, he sure has skill but with simply practice you also can do that, It Just takes some crazyness to do It at high speed near trees
@@gillespriod5509 We can but clearly he can not :D @omerkoc939 Those mercs are actually fairly good for racing and he even balanced it out with them extra wheels in the trunk :D
@@gillespriod5509 that mercedes is old as heck and does not even resemble anything safe. Especially in the woods at those speeds lmao, but it does have airbags, well the passenger does anyways 😂😂😂
Very nice! the production quality of this one is absolutely miles ahead of your other videos (although I love your other videos too) I mean this took so many external cameras and other effort etc. Well done. edit, at 3:45 panicking to get the handbrake off, certainly been there before, although not with a foot operated one...
We had a c180 esprit in the family and I never DARED to even imagine that this car can be driven this way. If I saw the next owner driving it like that, I'd have mixed feelings, so much abuse and so much glory lol! Mad respect for the Takata wheel
Damn... i never knew that a W202 has such sporty genes. Probably the most luxury race car with all that wooden trim inside. Wish you all the best. Thanks for your great entertainment.
I don't write English well, I think you understand....this is the best video I've seen about inexpensive cars that we can buy and drive like this brother
Superb driving skills. Most rallye drivers know that it´s not the horsepower that makes the car go fast on gravel, it´s how you use the power. I had loads of fun back in the eighties with an old volvo 242, and that had 92 furious horses under the hood..
I liked it a lot, I grew up in rural Alaska. All we had were dirt roads, it’s scary to watch but I can tell your experience is top notch. Thank you for sharing it’s a safe way to relive the memories.
I had a red c180 with a welded diff which I ran as a winter car before it had the life abused out of it on a dirt road, it was an absolute blast from start to finish. Cheap cars are the best
My father had a C180 w202 and my brother and I used to rally it on the dirt road leading to our cabin. So much fun! I think he would’ve killed us if he found out 😀
Hell yeah son… bone stock Benz, no roll bar, no hand brake, and I would posit the man ain’t wearing his helmet or seatbelt… killing it at 140 through the woods… kick ass man
There's not much Mercedes Benz engineers didn't have in mind while developing the W202 - well ... 😂 Video starts cool with two(!) stripe in the dirt and gets awesome within seconds! 🔥 Major props for the driving skillz!
You killed it. This was amazing my guy. I own a W126 S300 and a W203 C240. I have drifted in both of them over the years but they're not the most well-balanced machines. You made it look easy in that W202 with your huge balls of steel and magnificent talent. My hat's off to you.
This video is the best i have seen in years here on YT. It gives me that old school YTvibes. Hell yeah i hitted the like button only bcs of the cool channel name. Never expected what i got! Keep going :)
I've been seeing a lot of videos show up on youtube lately about how to install homemade skidplates, and I think to myself "who the hell are these videos for?". You, bro. They are for you.
