KWVR SPRING STEAM GALA 22nd March 2024 We get caught in a storm filming steam locomotives.
On the day of the Grange Over Sands train derailment things got a little bit too busy in town so we headed off to bash steam at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway spring steam gala 2024. It was the 2nd day of running and even though we got there at 1pm we did capture quite lot of steam in different locations up and down the line.

Yes lovely line love all the proper gas lamps they still run on that line by night it’s very atmospheric indeed!!

@@ThomasEdward There's nothing like gas lighting for creating atmosphere. When I wer' a lad some stations were lit by oil lamps and even in the 1970s Clapham (Yorkshire) was still lit by oil lamps.
