To the confused af peoples -Jeetu vaiya giving this advice only to those who just cannot deal with chemistry. If you can, then go for it, improve your rank! If we go back to the example of the teddy, he told not to chase the thief IF he is far or running very fast. But if he is close, catch him and take the teddy back! Otherwise let it go! So if you can deal with it, go for it! There are still lots of good students who can deal with chemistry. But if you can't, then this advice works for you. That doesn't means this subject is useless. Whoever will deal with it gets high in rank compared to those who don't (if in similar marks). Easy to understand.

Only flaw in kota factory was this episode.They promoted the fact that you can get selection without inorganic chemistry.But in reality it is very difficult to get selection in IIT without chemistry.Chemistry also improves the rank.So it is nessacery to study to study inorganic l.But for feel good factor,this was a good episode 👍

If you want IIT with Chemical branch then leave Inorganic But if you want IIT with CS branch then don't even think about it

he is right. i took JEE in 2004, back in my days there were no such guidance for me in my town. this part is not only true for inorganic but also for physics and chemistry too, you dont need to study everything, focus on important parts, do what you can do and skip what you cant, dont waste time and energy. i still scored good in chemistry and physics but math cutoff i could not clear. my JEE Pre rank was in top 1% but mains rah gaya. i ended up in NIT.

I am so lucky that I have a teacher who always motivate me to be a basic to advance learner and an IITIAN.

The whole point here is 'exam ke liye padhne se phle uss exam ko padho'. Knowledge is not the only thing needed to crack an exam proper strategy is needed. You need to study according to weightage instead of studying each & everything. If you are feeling weak in some area then make the other areas stronger and there are many strategies like that you need to follow to crack a competitive exam

One thing I want to point out. Please dont insult any field . Chemist chaurahe matlab kya ? CNR Rao ko chemistry research mei Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award mila aur unhe Bharat Ratna mila. Venky Ramakrishnan ko Nobel Prize mila 2009 mein. Sab field important hai.

I would suggest study basic basic inorganic chemistry from some good teachers and learn and understand from his notes it would surely cover 80% inorganic chem just read notes once daily. Do not CRAM inorganic in one day, logically read for atleast a week once in a day i bet after max to max one month you would really feel confidence in inorganic. Do not directly read from books it will not help just get help even from lucid teachers like of unacademy pw mohit tyagi etc.

If you leave ioc your basically putting urself on some heavy risk Jee advance me physics aur maths ka koi thik thikana nahi hai Even if you think ur a physics prodigy kabhi kabahar paper dimag ka dahi banadega (2016). Isliye kehte hai ioc me kam effort and ASANI se mark ate hai Bas thoda ghosa marna hai important chapters ko aur Aram re mark hajir. Ek Ek mark ke kitne kitne rank udtehai

Toh maanlo jis saal tum paper diye thhe, us saal chemistry mein inorganic se easy question aa gaye toh? Woh toh easy hone ke bawajood ab nahi hone waale. Bache hue toh difficult waale hai. Ab agar aap JEE ke difficult waale questions solve kar sakte hai to phir toh inorganic should be easy for you. So either way, reading inorganic is a win-win situation and jo nahi padhta woh loser hai.
