It is so beautiful when a high incarnate Rimpoche speaks his mind in such simplicity. Good person is what we all should aspire to be..not necessarily seeped into spirituality..and we do what we are supposed to do which is take care of our responsibilities with mindfulness and gratitude. I had the very good fortune to meet with Dilgo Yangsi Rinpoche in Reading in England when he came there on a visit with Mathieu Ricard in 2015 .. I only stood before him for a brief moment ..but I was lucky enough to receive his blessing ... I wanted to shake hands with him but I wanted to show respect to him ... so I didnt ask ... I kind of regret that i didnt .. anyway .. I consider receiving his blessing to be one of the most special moments of my life ... because he is the Reincarnation of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpichoe who i always felt a great connection with ....I hope we can meet again someday and next time We shake hands

Rimpoche. There is a book titled "Guru Drinks Bourbon", written by Jamyang Khyentse Norbu Rimpoche, Please read it and let all the young Trulkus in your monastery read it too. Many young trulkus think that being a trulku stops them from enjoying their life. They don't realise that if they were not trulku then : 1. Nothing will be easy for them. They will have to work to earn every grain of rice and every piece of vegetable. Nothing is free. 2. They will realize that without knowledge one can end up in the monastery kitchen. 3. Girls were coming after them because Trulkus make lots of money. Trulkus are clean and wear smart dresses. If they happen to be plain monks then only aunties will come after them. With regard to Rinpoche Yourself, you have a big shoes to fill. Your job is to lift up the sentient beings from the samsara. Thats not an easy job. You of all the Trulkus cannot afford to relax. You must set example to other Trulkus. Look at present generation of masters like Sangay Nyenpa Rinpoche, Mingyur Rinpoche, Lama Matthieu, Namkhai Nyinpo Rimpoche etc and etc they are all managing to carry and pass on the holy tradition of Buddhism that they received from their masters. Now your generation of Trulkus must prepare to take on this reaponsibilty when your turn comes. There is no room for making lame excuses. Dhandyabad

As a dharma practitioner, you must aspire to attain buddhahood. As a dharma teacher, you must inspire your followers to attain buddhahood. That aspiration to attain buddhahood must spring from the desire to uplift all the sentient beings from worldly sufferings. Your humility is admirable but please make sure you surround yourself with learned teachers and relentlessly move upward in your dharma practice. You have a blessed soul. Now bless your heart and mind with wisdom. The world will benefit from it at the end. Wishing you good health and joy. Note: Don't just focus on Nyimgma teachings, learn as much as you can from other Buddhist traditions and teachers. I see a tremendous potential in you because you have a pure heart, which is indispensable for anyone to become a genuine dharma practitioner. No wonder we many of younger generation of Tibetan youth has become atheist because of this kinda of lama in Tibetan Society. Do they feel any guilt of what they are doing. They should be ashamed.
So WHAT exactly were they doing?I don’t see anything wrong with lamas liking luxury and it proves NOTHING.Stop foul-mouthing and ending up with a mountain of negative karma.You’ll regret it sooner or later.

Rinpochey kheno Though I am layman I used to have frequent dream about Previous Dilgo Khentse Rinpochey. One irony about me of dreaming about previous rinpochey was I was one 3 or 4 years old when rinpochey passed way without seeing his smiling face once also.So poor on my part.😭😭😭😭😭😭

in the middle of his narration i thought he is not a rinpoche anymore .....Is he?i left nepal long time ago but i remember receiving blessing from all these rinpoche during wong even from the younger ones.
there is so much hypocrisy in lamas. not to lead mundane life yet they live a luxuries life, driving expensive cars instead of maruti 800. wear branded shoes and expensive watches. what not. double life is what most of the tulkus live. pretending to be tulkus when in reality most are just manufactured to maintain the business of running institution. i m tibetan by the way. it is due to this tibet lost. sects fighting for power is the reason for downfall of tibet. killing lang darma was a huge mistake. it's effect we are still facing.
This is very true!!! Tulkus are actually meant to teach the dharma and bhuddist teaching yet there r many Turkus who r fucked up!!! Not all bt few are there in Mundgod drepung!!! Pretending to be tulku(tulku sheraf)and once they get money they ll blown up like they hv earn it!!! They get money which westerners give them
@Caroline Hallowes hey ! you dont get to say "fucked up" system (YES DO NOT BLAME THE SYSTEM) . Buddhism never force anyone to follow their path and all the buddhist people in this world today have chosen this path and follow buddhism just because they wanto . If you donot find this right nobody forces you to follow buddhism until you destroy yourself. I hope you find peace within yourself.
