KYC Demo 

About the KYC process,how about a twin, because I do remember last year, my brother and I went through this same validation process on a particular crypto platform. On the contrary upon reaching face verification my brother was told, he had already registered and that he had an account already, meanwhile that was mine. So If I may ask how can the Pi Core team assure us that we wouldn't be facing such anormalie.

I am new in the Pi network. I learnt someone received a notification to kyc and didn't even know. So she has missed kyc twice or so. Just to know, can we have a video on how the interface of kyc notification looks like? Maybe my question is ridiculous but I think it will go a long way to lessen the burden of sending kyc notification more than once. Thanks to the core team.

The problem with KYC is when we send a passport or market permit whose origin is European, and we are of Asian origin, but we hold European citizenship. Personal proof documents from Europe. Why is my kYC in progress for too long ?

We need to provide a re-submission option if approval has been waiting for over 6months. My team mate submitted his KYC on July 5th, 2022 and got his approval within days. I submitted mine on July 7th, 2022, and mine is yet to be approved even though we are both from the same country. I am entirely in the dark the cause of such a long delay.

Very well explained. Hopefully soon I'll be able to verify my KYC soon. I've been waiting patiently since my Nephew got me into the Pi.

Pi valerá no mínimo 100$ eu acredito muito nesse projeto e já estou acompanhando a 1 ano ou mais.

As long as pi can be downloaded and installed in the Google Play Store and App Store for new users, it will not be the turn of the old ones to get KYC!! Every new entrant who starts mining will be sent KYC immediately after a few weeks. But for us old people, there is still no news of KYC!! The Pi central team should KYC the old people first according to the first priority, not to KYC people who haven't been active in this project for a month yet. This is far from justice and fairness!

i have done my KYC using Yoti app few years ago. i have not received notification for KYC completion as it was announced. All newer pioneers have gotten the request and also received approval. i feel it is unfair we have to wait longer than the newer miners to complete KYC and become validators, as we have been with the Pi network since the beginning. please kindly look into it and help.

It's not fair that those who have submitted their kyc application since 2021 even those who have registered through yoti in 2020 have not been approved and confirmed. Meanwhile a lot of new accounts are selected as validators and have completed the kyc

Years later and still nothing

Unfortunetly people still have to wait very long non specified amount of time to simply start their KYC procces. From 15 minutes to multiple years...

The KYC pass rate in China is deliberately delayed, and I hope it can be rectified

I've been stocked in Pi KYC since March/April 2023. Anytime i check, the system says "Review in progress". Since March/April 2023. Please what should i do? Is there a way i can cancel and redo? My KYC is taking too long to be confirmed. Please advise me. Thank you.

Thank You for making this clearer for me. I grew up before the tech explosion and even the headmaster at my school didn't have a computer. I am still just mining on an old phone via a wifi personal hotspot on my present phone. I have downloaded the pi browser but I don't even know how to do the wallet thing plus my only ID is my disability bus pass which has a distorted photo. I might have to apply for my driving licence to be renewed as I am sure that it's out of date. Thanks again Paul

Please adopt a more effective solution for name-change-issue. 4Ex: the name from A BC to D BC may be allowed.( because from A BC to D BC isn't complete name change )* A lot of genuine pioneers are frustrated because of this issue. First of all, excellent video, quite detailed and explained. In second place, I guess that I was one the first people who made the first KYC, and I couldn't passed, because..., well, I don't know what was the reason. And in the second process that I made again the KYC , it seems that I did it well, but until today (16/06/2023), I didn't get any response from the KYC validators or from the algorythm. I don't know what should I do, because nothing appear on the screen of the KYC browser, just the same thing, is pending to be aproved, can anyone tell me why I can't get approved my KYC, is because there are fews humans validators?, it's because my pictures are not quite good?, what is the reason?, it have been more than a year, and still nothing. please can you provide me some info, I don't know what to do.

Neat and nice explanation of coreteam. However, small changes thru EDIT mode is not possible in the present version of kyc mode. Hope modifications for edit mode of kyc may be forthcoming. Pl do it for the benefit of pioneers

So, our UNredacted ID photos and information are stored on the servers? I feel uneasy about that. The inevitable data breach that will come after Pi Network eventually gets hacked, will leave millions of people vulnerable to identity theft.

Really appreciate your behind the scene hardwork and efforts CT from day one. But I was going to ask, what if an ID picture was taken years back and obviously the human body changes with time eg Mr A had beards when the ID picture was taken but Mr A doesn't keep beards anymore and then took the kyc picture vice versa. In case this happens, what steps should the pioneer take or have you figured out a way to handle such scenarios already?

I appreciate the prompt response to my problem. So what I will do now is to use a different ID card, because my national IDCard picture is black and white, also blurry.
