Those who said creepy ang video, well if you will annalyze it literally talagang creepy sya. But the video is showing otherwise its figurative meaning.. the song speaks for itself, "hanggang ngayon" which means till now mahal pa din nya, hindi maka move on, and so what the video was trying to say.. the surrounding was entirely dark and lifeless mainly because her life became dim and dull nung iniwan sya ng guy. The thing when she was still preparing food where in sya lang naman nasa bahay means denial. Denial of the fact na sya na lang magisa and yet still prepares food for 2. Bat may mga roaches? Kase napabayaan na nya buhay nya, her normal life, her routine. Nabulok na sya at kinain na sya ng katotohanan sa pagkakawala ng guy lahat napabayaan nya. Nawalan ng interes mamuhay ng normal, nawalan ng interes sa buhay. Ung tao sa fridge, indicates na she is frozen in time.. hindi na sya nakawala nakaalis, na stuck sa past. basically says na hindi na nagmove literally and figuratively.

If you are one of the people who happens to appreciate the artistry of this video, thumbs up. Loss of someone you love and regretting it over time feels like this.

Despite the metaphors, I think Kyla is literally a ghost in this music video. While we can say that it’s just a metaphor na she’s “frozen in time” kaya s’ya nasa ref dahil hindi sya maka-move on sa taong nang-iwan sa kanya, cinematography is more than that. The theme you incorporate in a video speaks for its intentions. You don’t add a spooky theme for nothing. In film, everything has a meaning. The way she floats, the way she suddenly appears from one place to another, and the way her reflection blurs are all seemingly ghostly (not to mention those creepy-crawlies). This video actually reminds me of 2020’s “Haunting of Bly Manor” (Netflix) where ghosts have routines. The ghost wakes up, walks, and sleeps. Ghosts were stuck in some kind of limbo. In this video, Kyla has a routine before she died (or before she was murdered). That routine includes loving someone despite that person killing you. Literally. She’s a ghost perpetually asking: “Bakit hanggang ngayon ay ikaw pa rin ang mahal?” (Bakit hanggang ngayon mahal pa rin kita kahit pinatay mo ko?). That’s creepy. Because sometimes, even the person you love can hurt you. Domestic violence. 🥺

Hello people. FYI. This is Kyla's second single and this video made Kyla one of the only three Filipino Artists who won the MTV Viewers' Choice at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards (Eraserheads and Parokya ni Edgar being the other two). Funny how people this age don't realize how timeless and untouchable this song and music video is - even comparing to the kid's version. I maybe out of place and bias but this is how I appreaciate Kyla and the people behind this song and video - for the sake of those who commented, this is the kind of music we experienced unlike what you are listening to now.

Kyla is 1 of 3 Moon Man owners here in the Philippines! Yay! She won in the VMAs. Sayang hindi sya nakapunta sa Radio City, New York para kunin ang award pero I remember she has a video clip accepting the award sa MTV Philippines studio. MYX may be reigning since 2008 but I still miss the good 'ol MTV Asia / MTV Philippines Days. I'm so glad, naabutan ko yung era na yun.

This is a song about lost love. The video says she's frozen, remembering what was. She wears black to indicate her dying inside because he's gone. Whether he was murdered or not is hard to tell, but he did love her. It's not about abuse. She chooses to stay in the past. Her freezer is also her coffin, her death sentence, her decision to not move on. We can learn or we can die. Love lasts forever. Don't hold your breath forever....you gotta live. In other words, don't give up if one love work out. Love comes in many forms. Be ready to receive and know when it comes again ❤

Why do I have a feeling that the music video is about crime of passion? She so loved the guy that she couldn't afford to let go of him and inadvertently killed him. Her entering into the refrigerator, to me, was a sign that she eventually killed herself out of feeling sorry for what she did.

Good song. Wonderfully written and sung by an amazing artist. Grade 5 palang ako medyo creepy na talaga para sa'kin 'tong MV. I'm a full grown woman now, still creeps me out. She still cooks breakfast only to find out at the end that she was the one who killed her lover. Why? Who knows? Out of jealousy maybe, but I think the MV was the most bizzare way of interpreting the lyrics. Kudos to the director. Very underrated.

This song it timeless. The melody and the lyrics are just astounding. And Kyla's voice is unique, she's no doubt one of our better singers.
