NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick joined the Door Bumper Clear crew this week as a special guest in Brett Griffin's absence. T.J. Majors, Freddie Kraft, and Tyler react to the Xfinity Series finish at Darlington Raceway between Kyle Larson and Sheldon Creed. They share their thoughts on the battle, why each was racing so hard, and what they could have done differently to prevent Noah Gragson's last-lap pass for the victory.

at the end sheldon may have lost the race but, showing he could go head to head with the cup series champion, and earing a hand shake from him at the end could be more valuable for his future in the long run

Sheldon's tire was 100% for sure cut down before turn 3. Watch the replay and you can see his car all of a sudden swerve a bit late on the straightaway. That was the RR going down

The end of this race was good, hard racing by all involved. No one wrecked anyone. Larson shouldn't have cut Creed a break just because he's a series regular. And creed definitely wasn't giving Larson any breaks. You run a race to win, not to finish 2nd.

This was punching down by Larson. He might not have meant it that way but it wasn't okay. Hamlin did the same thing to Ross Chastain just a couple years ago. Both times the lower series regular lost the race after an aggressive cup driver stole it from him only to hand the win to a third driver. Cup drivers should behave better when racing in other series.

If this was in cup and playoff driver vs none playoff it wouldn't be a discussion. The none playoff driver would be getting.roasted for racing that hard against someone going for the championship. So why is Larson getting a pass on this?

As they said, Creed was pinned against Kyle door entering turn 1. Kyle really couldn't make the corner being forced into it narrow and into the less grippy section of the track, also having less downfoce with Creed pinned on his quarter panel making him loose. Creed knew the risk that they weren't going to make that corner without any contact.

Apparently you’ve never watched Kyle race ever… you’re cherry picking Watkins Glen and Fontana and base it off that. When they clearly said and if you have ever watched Kyle he is a clean racer, and he races people clean when they do the same with him. He only gets rough when the person he races does, but even then he’s not as aggressive as someone like Logano when someone roughs him up.
