@@elmtree9951 sinead o'connor went off-script and performed bob marley's "war" on snl in 1992, after which she said "fight the real enemy" and tore up a picture of pope john paul II, in reference to the child abuse within the catholic church. o'connor was shunned publicly, even though she was right - i don't know how old you are but i remeber the 2010 abuse scandal

I haven’t seen this since the night it aired but never forgot it. The idea that Shelly was the murderer was hilarious, but Kyle getting an angry phone call about it took it over the top especially when they put up “voice of David Lynch” when we already knew it was supposed to be him. Something about that just made the whole thing.

This made me laugh so hard because even though I could understand a director wanting to do such a call, it's so far from who David Lynch is and how he operates. Also amazing how you don't need to hear words to understand the moment.
