"Should I Stay or Should I Go" is a song by the English punk rock band The Clash, from their album Combat Rock. It was written in 1981 and featured Mick Jones on lead vocals. It became the band's only number-one single on the UK Singles Chart, a decade after it was originally released. In November 2004, it was ranked at 228 on Rolling Stone "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. In 2009 it was ranked 42nd on VH1's program 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.

I just discovered this song recently and I think this cover is great! she has a very nice voice, a great presence and she seems to enjoy it! it is sad to read the comments and see people criticizing just because it's not their style of music of she's not their kind of artist. just close your eyes for 4 minutes and listen, forget about who wrote this song or who KYlie Minogue is!

Another guitar based track you may like. Some Kind of Bliss - Intimate and Live 1998. Her 1998 album Impossible Princess was very indie she worked with Manic Street Preachers and its a total departure from what she had rleased previously.

I think it's pretty good, so what if it's generic pop? The original was a (very good) generic pop song too, and hardly a showcase for what The Clash excelled at. I'd get the outrage if she gave this sort of treatment to 'Complete Control' or 'White Man In Hammersmith Palais', which are hardly songs which Kylie could perform with a modicum of conviction. She has good stage presence too. Take it for what it is. And I say all this as an absolute devotee of The Clash, Strummer, Jones etc.

Yuck. I like The Clash and Kylie has great taste of music, but this was the cringiest four minutes in my life. Kylie should have never touched this song. I thought crap flooded the world after 2000, but this blew my fuses.
