Kylie has said the song can be interpreted in several ways. Despite the obvious connotations, this song is not primarily about her battle with cancer. It's about the different 'dark times' over career (there have been a few) where she has doubted herself and questioned whether she should continue in show biz. Either way, the track is infectious and uplifting (and would be a fantastic addition to Les Mills gym sets worldwide).
