The full PC release isn't out yet, but I honestly can't wait for the Switch version. I've recently picked up Graveyard Keeper on Switch and love it on there. That game, this game, and Stardew Valley are among the games that this channel featured and I bought because I loved your plays and guides of the games.

Graveyard Keeper and Stardew are both so excellent, and this one seems somewhere in between.. but still original

Why don't more games have aging??? It's such a great idea. I can only think of harvest moon wonderful life. Thanks for sharing. I love autumn in this game too. So pretty 🍂🍁

Ohhh, this looks so much better. Not ripping on how the graphics looked, but that blurry or static-y effect really was messing with my head and I put it off playing it for a long time.

Just so you know, "Offals Tench" is supposed to be pronounced "Awful Stench". The devs of this game are brimming with puns.

Downloaded this not long after it was released on early access and played for about 12 hrs, loved it but came to the end of that content and not played it since. Think I'll have to give it another go 😊

Hey! So did u play it again? Im trying to decide if I should get this game or my time at portia. I love the concept of kynseed but it seems like it still has a lot to improve, being in EA and lacks storyline or something?

@@anaalves5371 I am also looking at Kynseed but My Time in Portia will not disappoint! It focuses more on workshop and building for the land around you, but it is feature complete and tons of things to do. Has great festivals, events, and all that romance stuff if you're into it. Also the game has some real nice QoL features like being able to craft from your boxes and even disperse your inventory to all your boxes by only accessing one. After gaming a long time I find myself getting a bit grumpier on games that don't focus on inventory management features.

it's been 2 yrs and we've yet to see the features that are its selling points implemented. lovely environment, which you can't interact with! if you focus, after 45min there's no tasks left to do. It had so much potential--24 mo ago. 18mo ago. a year ago. (they had to take time off bc the winter depressed devs. yeah) In Sep 2020? fkn waste of time & kickstarter backers' $

Mr. Fairweather isn't passing time, he takes years off your lifespan. I believe in the last vid he said you would live to 55? 60? Anyway, by purchasing his goods you aren't going to live that long. Also you still need to find a place to plant the Kynseed so your gameplay is passed down to your descendants.

this game will crash eventually, it wants do be to much and most games try to do that failed one way or another. Also updates take forever how long do you want to wait for that game to be complete?

uhm, i think you don't age a year. i think that means you took a year off the end of your life. like if you would have lived to 81, now you'll die at 80 instead. but those're just my thoughts. i could be completely wrong there. it just seems like a less exploitable thing to have. i doubt people would want to Die Sooner, so it makes the item that much more valuable. otherwise, players might do like you were trying to do... get around the wait to get older or old enough to do whatever. or like if there's a status effect that lasted one year, players might be tempted to think that they can just bypass the trouble by buying some doohickey from the trader with out actually having to put up with the problem. again, just my thinking. obviously, i don't know, having not played the game or made the game. ^^;;

The way it works is that you will live til 60, as part of the Kynseed contract. Every time you die in combat, or buy an item from Fairweather (cost is years of your life), you are aged at the end of the year when he takes his tax. So let;s say you are 22 and die 3 times (you are brought back to life at the cost of 1 year) and buy an item at 3 years cost, at the start of the next year you will be 28, and everyone else in the world will have advanced too.

Am I really the only one who gets a headache from just looking at this game? I just don't think it looks good at all. The visual assets all muck together for me and there are A LOT of them. Just looks messy and way too busy in my opinion. My retinas are STRAINING to translate everything for my brain. I think I'll just stick to stardew honestly :/

That could be just Autumn...Winter looks cleaner and Spring / Summer are much more colourful.
