I followed the same instructions on Kyocera M3415idn. But sadly it did not work out. However, I decided to use the computer IP address instead of the computer host name. It worked. Better yet, I configured my router to bind the IP address to the computer MAC address so the IP doesn’t change when a computer disconnects. It worked perfectly and was a permanent solution. The only thing I’m struggling with is scan to email.
Super Random, but if you end up getting a x1101 error code and you have made sure all of the settings are correct, check your ARP table. Turns out we had another device that got plugged in and had the same IP address as our printer and was causing this error to occur. After unplugging it, everything went back to normal. Hopefully this helps someone.
Have any of you guys had an issue where the scanned documents won't get to an email if there are more than 60 pages? Giving the error 3101. However the other KYocera printers that are in the same network work just fine. Also, it just happens when is more than 60 pages.
I'm having trouble setting up this function. i already have two of these functions set up which have been set up by the company that sold me the machine. I imputed all the information exactly the same as on the other entries except with the new folder name and it fails the connection every time. Any ideas? the shared folder in on a disk station network for my small business.
I am trying to do exactly this but I am getting a connection error when testing connection? Any ideas? I really need this to work. I'm using Windows. Thanks!
Our Kyocera stopped scanning out of the sudden. No changes were made recently. AD users look all good. The problem is we only get "Connection Error" when we do the test. Is there a way we can get more details on the error message to narrow down where the issue could be coming from?
How about kyocera 2551ci when the laptop or desktop is turn on and the next day ,all the scan connection that is connected before its all gone.and when i do it again it all connection error unable to connect it all
Great video! I can not connect to the command center via ip address. I enter the address and I get the site can not be reached and ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Any hope would be really appreciated. I have another computer that is set up but can not reproduce the connection.
I had the same thing happen to me because I was using chrome, I had to use Microsoft edge and when it piped up that the network was unsafe you go To advanced settings and continue anyway.
Hi, Thanks for the Video. Is it possible to scan to folder without Internet Connection? If possible, please share the configuration Video. Thanks in advance.
Ok so I’m trying to scan documents to file within a file in our shared driver. The first file connects but the one inside that one doesn’t connect. My scan properties doesn’t look the same and I’m not sure where I’m going wrong.
Is the local user name here the name of the IT admin and their password for the Kyocera interface or is it the username & password of where the shared folder resides?

All scanners scan to PDF. You can covert to other format only with software for conversion on your computer. A Microsoft WORD converts to PDF but not always well.
