I personally prefer watching a more balanced game rather than one team financially outweighing the opposite by 20:1. Different story in Europe against even quite average teams.
Everything about Kyogo's goal was sublime. From the build up to the deft back heel, it was just a beautiful play. The kind of thing that made me want to watch football in the first place. And I knew Jota would find his form once the weather got a little sunnier. You can take the Jota out of Portugal, but you can't take the Portugal out of Jota.
Celtic are just way too strong - it’s a shame we couldn’t put up much of a fight. Couple of key players out for hearts but I’m not 100% confident it would have made much of a difference. Sometimes we just have to be realistic about where we are, and it’s not on Celtics level unfortunately. Still love the hearts though 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
Neilson no complaints about ref/VAR today & how his team are hard-done by. Strange that he didn't mention stonewall penalty for Celtic at 1-0. Even stranger is it's as invisible on here as it was to ref + VAR during game!
There was a time when despite their league positions Hearts and Hibs would give the Old firm a difficult game in Edinburgh. Seems these days have gone and gap between them getting bigger.
You tell they are world class with all the teams with big money coming to buy them :). They might look good with the odds stacked in their favour but on an even financial field they are nothing special. Real Madrid demonstrated how average in the real world the celtic team, the players and their manager are.
@@FinLineFly Say the same for every major football league in the world- Barcelona, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG....don't post if you clearly don't have a clue what you are talki ng about...
@@kevincrouch3956 Its not the same in every league - far from it! Nowhere else has such a huge gap in resources. And smelt fans still jump around at the final whistle like they've just won the champions league when they beat the likes of livi by a single goal. Gloating coz the rankgers took 9 off liverpool when they themselves took 8 from Real the same week. Best time of the year is when the smelts are getting creamed by even rank average teams in europe........ :)
@@FinLineFly Celtics budget was always much lower than the big teams like Madrid in Europe so your comments don't make sense and Madrid are nothing without their big budgets and would win nothing facts.
I was sitting watching this shocked at how nobody mentioned Jota's anticipation that the defender would miss the ball for his set up to the first goal. All anybody was talking about was the finish.
I think they're instructed to keep going. You never see players come back long balls unless it's to win the header. He had no intention of fighting for a header so he just went. More bad defending than a good move by Jota
We must note the budget difference at play both on players and in club facilities. It makes an absolutely HUGE difference However at periods of the first match I thought Hearts had to excellent spells. Hearts seem to be improving in some areas of the game quite well *from a Celtic fan
What formation does your expertise tell you Hearts should use? Not that it matters, you'd still get pumped whatever formation your team resorts to. Your formation doesn't make Hearts a better team.😂
It is my local team and always has been for more than 50 years. Thanks for pointing it out to other posters on here. Not that it matters mind you. Why don't you just admit what is evident to everyone but you? That is, that Hearts and that moaning faced Orc Robbie Neilson are simply not good enough to beat Celtic. Bye and cry.
Hearts seem to be asleep for most of this game. Celtic have greater quality, no doubt, but they also had a desire which was completely lacking in the home team
Watching Celtic play other SPL teams and lower outside of Rangers must be boring asf. Be like watching Tyson Fury fight under 16 amatures every week lol. What is even the point anymore
more chance of winning lotto than ange going to prem soon, there is no way ange will leave celtic this season or next… he will be at celtic for at least another full season… he wants another crack at europe and we have champ league automatically next season. maybe end of 2024 season he may go, wouldnt blame him tbh, more money and more competitive leagues but hell go far
