There is a little button on the bottom of front bonnet that realeases the pop up headlights thus eliminating the use of that tool. Kyosho has very poor paint quality for the price they ask. I’m guessing they don’t pay their quality control personel very much.
It is a complete mystery to me how Kyosho can seriously market such a product with so many obvious flaws, wrong colours, unfinished surfaces (trunk and engine compartment) and other details such as the angle of the steering wheel. It reminds me more of Revell than anything else.
Doe the door easily fall out? It looks like when you flip the car, it just fall open. Is that the case when you receive this model, or you used it for several times?
Thank you for reply. Since I saw this model sell on eBay was very expensive for brand new one compared with the used one. That is the main concern for me.
Again pity that there is so much paint bubbling - these should have never been put into circulation but instead repainted. I hope the countach 1/12 is not going to have any of the paint defects 😕
Yes, you wonder whether they had a quality control department! I've got rid of all my Kyosho diecast models now, except for the 18th scale Urraco Bob Wallace.
Its all very well condemning a model when someone is pointing out all the flaws but would they have noticed the flaws themselves, what do you want ( removable spark plugs) i think for the price its a brilliant model, who ever looks at a model that close to find flaws, i think the video would be better if the reviewer was'nt as boring as a brick. george
