Sorry for the camera shaking as said before this was recorded almost a year ago when I didn't have a gopro or camera man so I had to record with my phone while driving
That’s crazy. I have two of those Kyosho truggy’s, one is nitro and ones brushless conversion . And I’ve never seen the output cups wear out so easily. That Alpha must have some serious power 💪
Trust me the Alpha has destroyed much more than just drivecups. It's the only nitro engine that I own that requires lock nuts to stay on the engine mount because locktide alone won't hold it in place
It should be either online or in the user manual. I can't give any advice on this engine since I don't own one also I never use factory settings. I put both needles 1-2 turns in from flush and that gets the job done 9-10 times
@@NitroMike that’s cool man. I’m not trying to be a “know it all” or tell you how to run your program. The motor definitely has some power man no questions there. I only said that about your brakes bc when I first started racing 1/8 scale buggys. I went through the same issue of damaging my first sets of diff cups bc my brake EPA was set to high and everything was slamming forward when I hit my brakes. Way too hard...it’s a lot easier to make those dents, when the drivetrain is slamming to a halt, VS acceleration from an IC motor. Anyways man 🤘🏼 rock on. Keep sending it!
@@Crabtronics I like my brakes to be strong because I have had a couple of instances where I act to quick fast because either a kid jumps in front of the car or I am about to hit a curb. So far this is the only car that has destroyed the drivecups since I run stiff brakes on all my cars and I have yet to wear down the drive cups of my other nitros
