Been a big fan of my mini z! I’m gonna get another truck at some point, but I like how realistic the mini z is. I think the softer springs and heavier body make it move more like a real truck so that’s neat. Next I think I want the Chevy C10 axial to compete with my friends better, or maybe the new FMS one
Yooo new subscriber here. And pretty new to the hobby as well. Just picked up the grey bronco but wondering if I should have gotten the gladiator instead. Or the JL. If you were new to the hobby and new to spending (a lot) of money on toys for yourself, I.e. trying to spend relatively little $ for a capable crawling rig, which one would you buy between the 3?
@@jahbrony3650 Remove roof rack, rear tire, and scale interior. Add un-sprung weight as low as you can. I put brass diff covers and brass wheel hex adapters that add 1mm in width to the vehicle. I also have a set of the hot racing oil shocks and e max servo that I’ve yet to install. The shocks help with the bouncing that often ends up tipping you anyway.

Kyosho vs scx24. If you're using the kyosho, there's a lot of shortcomings vs the already capable SXC24. It needs weight that's probably it's biggest drawback. You have to take different lines and if you wanna do like actual "crawling" you'll need bigger wheels and WAY grippier tires. You can run them stock but actually modding the chassis with what you can get makes the kyosho IMO a lot more fun just because of the different approach in driving obstacles vs the Scx. ( I M O )
