Around 25 years ago, I acquired one of these with a nitro engine on the back, and a weird starting cone, to use an airplane style starter on. It's looong gone, and I'd be hard pressed to find any of the parts from it, but I know there's a couple floating around I see every now and then when I'm searching through my parts bin. "Ohhh yeah that's from that old Kyosho!" I'd reminisce.
The Scorpion - from the designer Akira Kogawa, that brought us the the Ultima and Optima. More recently, the Baja 5B. This guy's the legend behind these successful and highly cherished RC cars. 👍
have just purchased one of these , had one in the 80's ...cant wait to have one again... any chance of reissues of my two other favorite kyosho models from that period. the usa1 monster truck , and the ultima... both are strong in my memories. wish i never got rid of them.. thanks for the re-release of the scorpion.
